Gee Gimli that stinks with Parcel Force!  I know Mark & Roz had their own go around with them on a few packages I sent to them as presents!   Hopping Mad   I do hope you get some great cards to make up for this unpleasantness.   Smiley

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know I've listed the first of my 6 aftermarker cards on that auction site! It's hand-painted using acrylics, ink and colored pencil. The after market cards are the only ones I did with full color.

So aren't you doing any colouring in for commissions then Cynthia?

Yes, I am. If you pulled a card, and would like it colored, I can do that. I'm also selling these 6 aftermarkets too. Not all at once though! Smiley

Question for Cynthia: Are you marking the cards you color after-the-fact in any way?

I'm only asking because I can see a dealer pulling a nice card, getting it colored, then trying to sell it for oodles of money as a 'pack-pulled colored' - colored sketches pulling in considerably more money that b&w ones ...

If someone  commissions me to color a card, and then turns around and sells it as a pack-pulled card, I would request the seller to edit the listing. I've seen it happen to one or two other artists, but very rarely. With the LOTR sketch card site, it's easy to cross-reference cards on Ebay. It might not be a bad idea to make a note on that site that none of my pack-pulled cards are full color (though a handful were shaded using a light blue colored pencil and white, but that's as close to 'color' as you'll see). My aftermarkets are the only full color sketch cards I've done or will do.

I have thought about marking the aftermarket cards with "AM".   Probably a very good suggestion:)

Hi, guys -- Here are a couple of my aftermarket colorings (I've got the Eomer one on eBay right now, and the mumakil was done for somebody).  The image on my aftermarket cards usually goes to the edge of the card, and for the most part all of the "pack pulled" ones by me stay within that little border.  So that's generally how you can tell with mine.   Wink

Just opened 4 boxes of the 8 box case I got this morning, unfortunately the first box had no sketches at all (second dud I have opened) and overall only had 5 sketches in the 4 boxes.  Although one was a Gollum by Cynthia that looks awesome.  It may be my Gollum keeper.  Well we will see what comes out of the other 4 tonight.  Back to work.

Oh man, that sucks   Angry
That's the first I've heard of anyone opening boxes with no sketches.  I would be pretty ticked..

Got two more boxes in today - three sketches - one Fabbri, very simple soldier, one Jeff Chandler (very nice comic Gandalf - just not my personal taste) and one glorious Orc licking the blood from his sword by Norton - very cool Smiley I like that one.

All three were new artists for me, so I guess that's good too.

Pulled this color Cummens today from a pack.  Shocked

I'm gonna have to put it on  Ebay! so I can buy more. I've bought 5 1/2 boxes so far and want more! 2 boxes have had only one sketch though.
