Cindy: The Marine Corps taught me how to crawl really well - nothing would stop me from reaching my esteemed mail box in any weather conditon I might add especially where sketch cards are concerned!!  |

Hi Cat,
Do you have a set price that you ask for to color one of your sketches or does it vary by the individual card? I have to say, I'm torn though whether to have a sketch of yours have color added because your pencils are so beautiful on their own. Simply fantastic work! I'm still astounded that you did 506 sketch cards and they are all so detailed.

And hobble not crawl to the mail box (I have a hole in my front door with a flap where my mail comes directly onto my welcome mat  but each to their own. I don't suppose I could have such an epic and triumphant adventure in the attempt to pick up my post as you can  ) |

I have a hole in my front door with a flap where my mail comes directly onto my welcome mat Little off subject, but here in my city, if you have a mailbox to where the mail person has to take steps (even one step up) to get to it, they will not deliver your mail!!! They demand to have a freestanding mailbox in your yard to be installed at your expense!!  |

When I have parcels or mail that will not fit in the mailbox, the Postman comes to my door with them. UPS and FedEx come to the door with parcels. They all do a great job. |

You have to think of these things when you live out in the sticks! My mailbox, too! The plows are so bad in my town that some people stack several cinderblocks with the openings facing up, then mount the post of the mailbox through the cinderblocks.  Very attractive. Of course, it just kills me when I see one mounted like that, but the front of the actual mailbox has been smashed beyond recognition by the plow. Roz, depending on the mail carrier, parcels are either left at the front door, or left either next to the mailbox or in a bag hanging off the flag. We had one carrier who was really lazy. He had a package for me (filled with cards I'd bought from Anna ), and rather than drive down our long driveway and bring it to the door for my signature, he stayed at the top of the street honking his horn. I didn't hear it (maybe because I have two screaming kids who turn up the volume on the TV and computer speakers to 10) and he took off! I had to call the post office and complain so he would deliver it correctly the next day. You should know, I get really ticked off when something comes between me and my cards. Not that this has anything to do with Evolution... |

well my new pet hate is that Parcel force have started invoicing me for import Duty before they attempt delivery I received a letter today and had to phone up and pay for it before they will deliver That means a parcel they had on Wednesday will get to me a day later than it used to "Friday" and if you want it delivered on a saturday you have to pay £12 extra Mind you the duty is only £20.97 and then i have to already pay £8 for their fees so if i wanted it on saturday i would be paying Parcel force £20 above the duty |

Snowplows? That's nothing! To get to my mailbox today I had to walk down the driveway in flip flops and shorts. There was a slight breeze and the sun was so bright and warm that I had to wear my sunglasses. To top it all off a butterfly almost ran right into me! (sorry, had to do it!) |

Alright Kelly - that did it - I reached my breaking point - I can't take it any longer!!!! Just to show you I too went out in my shorts, t-shirt, and sandals to my mailbox today except it was 20 degrees with about 30mph winds. I am in training to increase my pain threshold. And no there were no damn butterflies either!! |
