The promoters do often have door prizes - no charge for those (except admission charge)

But (sshh - don't tell them I said this!) The prizes I'm accumulating for the raffle are much better Smiley Esp. considering Inkworks is donating some goodies! I can't spill the beans yet ...

Help!  I decided to order a ticket since I will only be at the show on Saturday and do not want to miss the Friday chances.  Now, it says to indicate if I will be at the show so they will not mail my ticket, yet I will not be able to get it until Saturday, is this okay?  And where do i pick it up?  Will I still be included in Friday's drawings?  Will they still email me my ticket number?

Sorry for all the questions.

It doesn't matter either way. You will receive via email a message containing your ticket number and when I show up on Friday all pre-ordered ticks will be dumped in the barrel - and eligilbe for all raffles immediately.

We ask that people not have the ticks mailed to them if they're coming because the postage costs come from our out-of-pocket expenses Smiley

No Smiley I've been a little under the weather (okay, a LOT under the weather) and haven't been doing my 'job'. I expect to have all tickets purchased since last Friday out by tomorrow though (incl emails!) in the hopes that I won't get too far behind...

I did go to the doctor today after being miserable for the past 3 weeks though, and he prescribed something best described as cold medicine on steroids! Of course, the old "drink fluids and get rest" too - but who can do that AND manage two kids and a family?

Ok, i wont panic! Another thought, i'm in the UK so posting tickets is gonna be quite costly, so please just email me the numbers and dont worry about sending physical tickets over.
Thanks for organising all this, and most importantly, Get well soon!! Smiley

I am so sorry for you.  I had bronchitis a couple weeks ago and was miserable.  I kept thinking to myself that I was lucky to not have children because I was incapable of doing anything.  I couldn't imagine having children to care for being so under the weather.

Thanks for the advice though!!  I will be purchasing my ticket this afternoon, sometime after 5.  Will people be notified if they are winners or will itmes just show up in the mail?

If you attend the show, will you be doing the raffles there?  Let's say my ticket got called on Friday for something (if I am lucky enough anyway), then would I know when i got to the show on Saturday and be able to bring it home with me?  I am so sorry for all the questions.  If you don't feel like typing right now, take your time.  I am buying a ticket no matter what, and your health is more important than my questions right now.  Just let me know when you can.

Aww.. thank you Smiley I promise I'll get yours sent off straight away when I get home tonight from my meeting.

Hmm - I honestly hadn't thought that far out - but I would assume that I would email the winners if I had valid email addresses for them.

We will be doing the actual raffle drawings both Friday and Saturday. There will be a large white board up with the winner's ticket numbers and names and at any time during the show you can claim your prize. All unclaimed prizes will be mailed out to the winners (obviously if the winner is in, say, Australia Smiley the prize would be sent out immediately)

And, technically, believe it or not, I'm at work today. Course the door is shut and I've been napping for the past hour or so ... but I am here shuffling along. My mama always told me that the world doesn't stop spinning just because I'm miserable Smiley And, the medicine the doc provided is helping my breathing some. In other words, don't worry 'bout me Smiley I'll be fine - at least I have 10 days to fully recuperate before the big show!

Sometimes you feel better getting out of the house anyway.  I came back to work way to early, but it was better than being on that couch another day.

Thanks for all the help!  I am getting excited.  I will be getting my ticket at about 5:30 today!!  You will be seeing me at the show, as I am stopping by to visit Smiley

Thanks again!

Oh, and Joanna, are you running this from Rittenhouse, or are you just helping out with NSU?  Where will the list be, with the Rittnehouse booth or NSU?  Boy do I have lots of questions, huh?

The list of winners will be at the NSU table. Rittenhouse is only a participant - I'm running this in my "free" time Smiley

We have prizes from Rittenhouse, Inkworks, Topps, Locasmarts and Benchwarmers - as well as all of the wonderful prizes donated by individuals (both card dealers and collectors!)

As for entries, I have 15 from the UK, 3 from Australia, 1 from Germany, 1 from Singapore and 1 from Canada.

And there's still 9 days until the event!!! I'm starting to get nervous now ... Undecided

I am also curious  to know how many in the US got tickets.  Hey, if you don't have many people entered, don't panic, we will all gladly be happy taking the prizes off your hands Wink  I am assuming if you win a prize, you can only win once, right?

Um... yah - didn't count those. Wasn't nearly as interesting to me to do so Smiley But, if it intrigues, I will count when I go home tonight and add in today's sales (well, yesterday's - I'm always 1 day behind!)

I do have some things from HP, but I haven't sorted it out yet. One very generous source sent me quite a few things, and then I got some additional things from other dealers, etc. -- sadly, nothing from Artbox Sad

Well, still - I should be working on the raffle prizes this weekend - sorting out what I have and how I'm going to use it Smiley numbering the raffles, making up my signs -- all fun stuff!
