I know it's still early days to ponder about this but my quick search on Ebay!..shows that there has been 7 Quads up for auction (2 sold already) and only 3 Radcliffe's (2 of those have sold) and also the 2 pulled.. I think from Yaks..do you just might think that there is more quads than 50, and less Radcliffe's than 100...the Quads are winning 7 to 5

I'm new to the whole buying boxes and cases thing, so please forgive my ignorance (most of my autos have come off eBay and at shows).  But...  you mean to tell me that all of the above was found in one SINGLE box (and not in one case instead)?  Just one measly box!!??  WOW!  I just can't imagine it.  I've bought a box "here and there" recently, but never, ever have I been remotely lucky as that!

About how many "hot boxes" show up in a product's run?  Also, is it intentional by the manufacturer as an incentive, or does it happen by mistake?  I wanna learn!   Smiley

Luck of the draw Wink

They had hot  boxes for their first PoA release, and now this one as well.  They don't make many, but they do it intentionally Wink

Man, those cheapskates at Artbox could have at least included one of each of the four Triwizard Champion wands for ya', at least make it something special that way.  Wink JK Congrats on the great box.

This has probably been asked before but, can you tell the difference between a normal box and a hot one without opening it? Is it heavier?  Shocked

I will have to check out that thread!  Thanks for letting me know - I see there is a lot to investigate on this site with tons of useful information.

Also, this may seem like a dumb question, but if a case has a "hot box" in it, then would that mean all the other boxes in that same case will be lame, or will things return to "normal"?

Thanks,

           Greg

As far as we know, the Hot box just takes hte place of an 'ordinary' box in a case. Thus the quality of the rest of the case should not be changed
