Does anyone know why they have such a range of sizes for the swatches?  A few are a bit smaller than I would like, but you are right Roz they cover a great variety.  I do love the alias sets, but you tend to get a couple cards like Vaughns camoflauge pants and Vaughns camoflauge shirt which might not differ two much in a matching outfit.  Nevertheless it looks like a great set, I can't wait to see the auto's I hope no one is a "chicken scratcher". Tongue

No big mystery really.  They have to vary the sizes in order to make enough cards of the smaller items.  Inkworks does not normally like to make very rare Pieceworks cards, which is what would happen if you had to use the same size for every item.   Ideally, they try to make the same number of each card, so the rarity is equal although the value is also determined by the subject.  It also make it easier to insert into the packing process if all things are basically equal.

I've asked this a number of times of folks at Inkworks, and it's either true or they practice giving that answer because it's always about the same.

I'm still only seeing the list of cards on the Inkworks site.  I don't see any pictures of the pieceworks.  Am I just being dense?  Can someone post a link?  Thanks.

Here's what the autograph layout will look like, this is Daniel Roebuck's webpage with some pictures of his autographs, he's got some great variants:

I'm not a big fan of the old initial thing, but if he took the time to write a little extra on the card I would be willing to live with it Evil

Lets hope that most have a little notation and that those aren't the only ones.

Wow thank you Zach, the design's cool and I LOVE the fact that he's written some fun things on them... let's hope he's done that for lots Grin

There are other cool pics on his website too so it's well worth checking out. I don't think I'm going to persue the 'last card signed' but look for another witty retort instead Grin

Thanks for the link, now I hope I get one of his cards in my boxes Grin.  It's a really nice touch.  I notice one of the cards say "Kaboom", ROFL!

I also like the rough aperture of the swatch too, no perfect circles in this set Wink snaztastic Grin
I was wondering why the weird aperture.  I think it might be the outline of the Oceanic Airlines logo.  Without the dots.

I wouldn't mind pulling one of his autos now either!!  I do have one other auto with just initials (Brian Krause from Charmed), but I don't mind it really.  I mean hey, if that is how they always sign there name, then fine.  But for him to add some writing on them, well, that is an added bonus!

Inkworks stated that not all of the Roebuck autos have additional quotes on them. Andy Modlin is quoted as saying "He even added some sayings to a few of his cards because he knew that collectors would appreciate them."

which seems to indicate that only a small portion of the cards have anything more than the initials...

I think he also said he hadn't seen all the cards.  I'll have to go back and find that thread...

That's how he usually signs his name.  I have an autographed photo (via the mail) from him and his signature looks exactly the same.  It was very cool of him to write those extra sayings.

Thanks for adding the pictures, Martyn.  Smiley  It may not be easy to find a Kate swatch with blue on it.  Those stripes look kind of small.  Tongue

Yeah, I'm thinking a Dual with white or white/brown in Walt's swatch will be the holy grail of variant searchers.

I do wonder if there will be "dark sweat stained" variants?  I guess it depends on if they add that in or if it's really sweat.  I'm assuming they wash these things before cutting them up. Shocked
