Great show, is it really the last in the season next week? They'd better do some serious wrapping up! Is there another season planned? And will everything wrap up nicely in this season or will we be left with a huge cliff hanger?

I've read some storylines will be "answered", some won't and there might be a new mystery.  Like I said before, the waiting will KILL me.

So I take it they don't manage to get off the island. Damn it, talk about drawing this out!

Here is what my Satellite TV Guide says of the last episode to be shown this coming Wednesday.  It is a 2 hour show:

Part 2 of 2

Something at sea surprises the rafters; the islanders try to blow the hatch.

Yea Mark they are going to draw this show out for as long as they can which is ok as long as it makes sense.

You think they are going to kill someone off? Otherwise why have they recently introduced that teacher guy, if it's not to replace someone...? Or did he die in the latest episode, I can't remember...

I wonder how many series this will last? It was bad enough with the gaps between episodes in the same series, but now with a gap between whole serieses it's going to be AGES!

Hi Mark:

Remember now that Boone is dead so maybe the teacher will have more air time.  He did not die in the last episode.

Is that on Terrestrial TV or Satellite / Cable? Man, everyone gets it before us! Not that I mind too much, due to the marvel of BitTorrent + Broadband! Cheesy

Well folks what can I say!  The 2 hour season ending episode was outstanding as usual.  I know many of you have not seen it yet so I do not want to post any info until you do.  I do want to say that someone dies and some questions are answered but others are not and they leave you hanging until the show starts again in the Fall.

Ok Mark and all LOST fans:

What did you think of the final episode?  Where does the hatch stairs lead to?  Did you notice that many of the ladders rungs are missing so it look like it is going to be one hell of a long way down?  Was Sawyer shot and wounded?  What about Jin and Michael?

Little Walt is gone but maybe they will throw him back once they see how many questions he asks!!  Wink  If those guys were "The Others" what were they going out in the open ocean in such a little boat?  Many questions need answering!   Smiley

Hmm I hadn't thought that the guys in the boat might be "the others". Although their desperation for taking Children makes sense.

I noticed that Sawyer was no where to be seen at the end of the episode so my bet is that he's on or holding onto the boat with Walt on. I am not too worried about Walt as I am sure Sawyer will take care of him, Hmm I didn't realise he might have been shot though  Undecided

I thought it was a really interesting episode with few questions answered (yes we know that the hatch is a tunnel now and we know it has power (the power and light had to be pretty high up the ladder though as it was so bright)). It was interesting that whatever was attacking Locke and dragging him through the forest was mechanical!!!

Where do these guys get their leccy from? I know the frenchwoman had a lead coming out of the ocean but that would place it pretty close to land and fairly major if it had power too it - laying cable on the sea bed is PRIIIIIIIICEY

Hi Roz:

It will be interesting to see if you are correct about Sawyer!  I did not think about that as I thought he was shot when he pulled his pistol out as that is when I saw him go into the water.  Good points about the power - I have no answer to that one!  Why do you say the thing that had Locke was mechanical?  I did not see anything that looked mechanical.  I would be interested to hear what you saw.   Smiley

I reckon Sawyer HAS to be on the boat, otherwise how will Walt get out of that one??

I didn't notice any kind of ladder or rungs down the hatch - it just looked like a sheer drop to me. But I'm probably mistaken!

As for the mechanical things attacking the guys in the middle of the jungle, they had to mechanical because as Locke was being reeled in, it sounded like a winch on a ratchet... clunk clunk cluck clunk...

Hi Mark & Roz:

I do remember hearing that sound so you may very well be correct!   Smiley  There definately was a ladder in the hatch and many rungs were missing and it looks a long way down.  As for little Walt's escape I thought he would annoy his captors to the point that they want to get rid of him!   Wink

Oh yes I agree completely with you Roz - Mark is Zeldaed out!!!   Wink
