Darren (Cards Inc) has also let us know about an interesting new set that will be out before PoA update. It will be a retail type set -
We are able to confirm that there will be an additional series of cards by Artbox this August.
They will be a Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban Film Cards Release. It is expected that these will be a very very limited release production. The product will have 1 or 2 levels of chase cards but will NOT have any autos/costumes/props. This product is intended for the retail market. It is expected to be a 72 card set.

Yeah, I heard about that one... it was in Canberra and I was going to go, but something came up and I couldn't. Lucky i didn't... would have been a waste of time... To answer your question Ben, there haven't been anything like what you guys in the US/UK get like comic con, collectormania etc which is a pity

I guess they have to take into account that there are substantially fewer people in Aus/NZ than in the US/UK and that they might not get their money's worth - people here may think paying $40-60 AUD for an autograph is a bit OTT. BUt as you said, it was thanks to NZ that LOTR was even here at all - and some fine Aussie actors there as well with major roles - could you have seen Eowyn, Galadriel, Elrond, Faramir and Denethor played by anyone else? I reckon PJ should put up his hand for something like comic con here, I think he might have abit of weight to throw around what with those 11 gold statuettes and all All in all, very disappointing

when the U.K had nothing to do with LOTR.
Yeah it was written by a professor of Anglo Saxon in New Zealand was it?

You WILL read the book!!!
I have a spare copy of the Silmarillion I have been meaning to send you for a while - but don't start with that - you have to start with the Hobbit - it's easier going than LOTR and you get to meet Gandalf from the start!

ya i think the same but its hard to put everyony in with such a large story i worry about the next one as all of the scenes will be there just to further the story
