I think I know who the next PM will be, Sam Tyler. Well in Dr Who land. Well we know that Harriet Jones was looking 'tired' well there's a picture of John Simms (aka Sam Tyler) in front of the houses of parliment http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2007/05/03/43655.shtml and then there is the clip of him in the coming up trailer in what looks like a government board room with an oxygen mask on beating his fingers on the table and to be honest that is the scariest part of it for me not sure why, it just feels eerie.

I'm so confused... is this episode (7) the one following the horrible scorpion-king esque one (in the present time?)? I thought that it was this week that would have Sam Tyler in, but from the description in the newspaper it's something about a space ship and some old female eastenders star?

News Flash look what I just found for the run down of the last two episodes;

The Sound of Drums

Back on modern day Earth, The Doctor, Jack and Martha return home on the verge of a new election, with there being more to one of the candidates, Mr. Saxon, than might first appear...

The Last Time Lords

The Doctor, Martha and Captain Jack meet the mysterious poll leader, Mr. Saxon who isn't all he seems. Could he be the Doctor's enemy, The Master?

Interesting that its last of the Time Lords, not the Last Time Lord.

Well I did enjoy that episode but nit pick time  Roll Eyes

Why didn't the doctor just use the remote control to summon the Tardis from the lava filled room  Undecided

Why can a sonic screwdriver do every job known to man and beast but can't open locked spaceship doors  Undecided

Why did the Doctor worry about regenerating when he was frozen when he has actually died this series without regenerating  Undecided

Why did they do practically exactly the same story last night with Martha as they did last series with Rose ie trapped on a space ship because humans have stuck their noses in where they are not wanted, assistant gets shot into space, they each think the other is dead etc etc.

I did love the 'Men in Black' that are staking out Martha's mum  Grin.  Lots of   Undecided Undecided Undecided for me.  I just think it was unfortunate that the best episodes were also the first in the series.

I know I was worried it would be just like that one from the last series, and it was rather recycled even the Docs space suit looked the same apart from the helmet which was orange instead of yellow.

The next episode looks very good, something about the doctor turning human.

Apologies for the double post but last nights episode really deserves a mention.  This was Dr Who at it's best.  And for anyone who had their doubts about Martha - watch these two episodes, they will make you realise what a perfect companion and very good actress she is.

I was still a bit confused at the end, but this is par for the course with Dr Who and me Roll Eyes.  Did anyone understand why he let the Family of Blood hunt him down?  I know the voice over said he was being kind but that just confused me more.  However the ending (which I won't mention just in case some of the US watchers haven't caught it yet) did exactly what I wanted it to do.  What an evil Dr you are John Smith  Evil Evil

I found that confusing too - but something was batted about that he'd just let them live their life cycle. I don't understand how they encountered them in the first place...?

I think it meant the doc could have just killed them in the first place but thats not what he does, although I don't think thier fate is any batter but uts what they wanted.

I think Matron was very brave it was really hard for her too she had already lost one man that she loved blub.

Shocked I have just found out that Human Nature started as a 7th Dr ebook adventure; http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/ebooks/human_nature/prelude.shtml

Having destroyed his own people & the Daleks (Or so he had thought) I think he is a bit down on killing these days except if absolutly necisery.  I realy enjoyed that double header it was so well done and then to follow it up with the Blink episode was fantastic  Grin Look out next week Capt Jack is Back  Grin

Well the Doctor has always been aganst killing, its one thing that sets him out for your usual heros (and it give Jack something to do lol), I was pleased to see even John Smith couldn't fire the gun, I was waiting to see if he would or not. Blink was so good and so scarey, ok hands up who's now afraid of statues? Its a real shame its nearly the end of the series Sad This one has been the best so far.
