As for little Walt's escape I thought he would annoy his captors to the point that they want to get rid of him! Wink

He hee - you are crueller than you look Wink

Hmm I bet Locke goes down the shaft into the blackness

But what could it be? And why such amazing defenses... are there other people on the island (Locke seems to think so, and if there aren't was Ethan alone?), Why did Ethan take Charlie and Aussie lass (temporarily forgotten her name) and then pass her to the French woman??

I thought the French woman was alone!

Hi Roz:

So many questions and so few answers!  ABC is starting to rebroadcast the LOST series tonight starting with the first episode.  They moved the show from its 8:00 P.M. time slot to 10:00 P.M..  I hope this is not permanent as showing it at that time will leave out many viewers who cannot stay up that late due to work and school.  Tape it you say!  Unfortunately I know too many people who either do not know how to operate their VCR's and DVD Recorders or are too lazy to do so and then you have the folks who do not have this capability!

Claire was the ladies name Roz.   Smiley

Aha that's right... but to suggest that Ethan collected Claire for the french woman seems so odd!

We need background... damn Charlie for shooting him!

He hee - what's that about 50 people who could be potential murderers, conmen, lottery winners etc etc - aha so much un-tapped potential Wink

I think they will always leave a few people out of our "main group" so they can bring them in and kill them (as per the teacher) or they can bring them in as a threat etc (as you rightly suggest Streicher)

Welcome, welcome and if you are a card fan too then you had best start saving up for the inkworks set of LOST due out later this year Wink I know I should be Tongue

I guess my post about Michelle Rodriguez joing the cast of LOST was lost when we had the server issues with The Yak Shack!  New info today that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will join the cast of LOST as Emeke - "a mysterous man whose presence on the island - and intentions - will be revealed" early in the upcoming second season which begins September 21st at 9:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.   Smiley

The London born Adewale's credits include the films "Congo" and "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls".

Yeah it is great Angie... and when you say "back to back" in my region it's split up with 30 unbearable minutes of Big Brother in between... thank heavens for 30 minute tea breaks Wink

I read somewhere that they bought it from ABC at the same time as they bought Desperate Housewives (didn't watch that either) but I know that was on ages ago - it's odd they have left it so late to show it here, but it looks like they will catch up fast if it's 2 eps a week!

After this weeks double there is only one episode per week, so next weeks tv guide tells me so maybe it will run season 1 straight into season 2 Praying

Yesterday was my first ever episode of Lost.  I saw the recap and the 1st show.  I'm totally HOOKED!  I'm going to the video store today to rent a few of the 1st season shows.  Maybe I can watch them all before next Wednesday.  Smiley

I for one am going to avoid all LOST information.  I'm waiting till the entire 2nd season comes out as a DVD set then I'm going to hibernate and watch it non-stop.
I loath the commercial interruptions.  Roll Eyes

Do any of you that have been watching for a while have a theory about what's going on?  If so, please post!  I would love to hear it.

[SPOILERS IN THIS POST FROM LAST WEEK'S EPISODE]
A small little thing I caught with the most recent episode. Obviously we know there are Polar Bears on the island.

In the flashback with Michael, where he has finally accepted that his wife and Walt will be leaving the States, he buys a gift for Walt. He only takes it out of the bag for a second and then puts it back in....did anyone else notice that the gift was a stuffed Polar Bear? There has to be a HUGE coincidence there...It was the one big thing that really stuck with me about the episode...well that and the "others" with some pretty nasty looking weapons coming out of the jungle.

Anyone have any ideas onto what is going on? I know a WHOLE Lot will be revealed next week...I remember reading that basicly the first three episodes of the new season are going to be pumped full of twists and turns and also reveal a TON of information.
