1  Harry Potter / The World of Harry Potter: 3D Trading Cards / Re: World of Harry Potter 3-D, trading cards from Artbox on: June 11, 2007, 11:59:20 PM
I think Roz said they couldn't be posted until the 15th as that's the official release date
2  Harry Potter / Old Diagon Alley / Wanted: PoA and/or PoAU prop/costume cards on: April 23, 2007, 12:17:14 AM
Hello everyone.

Having bought my very first prop card from Richard (Card_Vault) this week (the PoAU Sleeping Bag Grin) I'm hooked and would like to add to my collection.

However, as a skint student unfortunately I'm on a pretty tight budget so I won't be able to buy anything very exciting, but am hoping to be able to get the more common cards for a reasonable price.

Anybody who could help in my quest it would be very much appreciated  Smiley
3  Harry Potter / Old Diagon Alley / Re: Trelawny and Rosmerta POA Costume Cards Good BIN on: April 09, 2007, 06:32:05 PM
I looked at the Cedric Quidditch costume one; very reasonable BIN, but 17.56 USD for UK postage!!

I bought 2 promos and 4 packs of cards from a US seller last year and costage for all that cost me something around 4 GBP!! So I think I will be passing on these!!

6  General Stuff / Ebay and Paypal quibbles/problems / Re: Ebay seller 'card vault'? on: March 02, 2007, 08:25:46 PM
Well finally got an email from Richard on the 27th Feb saying that my item had been dispatched and should arrive with me shortly (this is 14 days after i'd paid by PayPal).

However it is now the 2nd of March and still no parcel; paying £4.25 for first class postage was most certainly a big waste of money!

Considering I am also in the UK overseas shipping delays can't even be blamed.

I'm sorry to say that I certainly feel unable to recommend this seller to anyone, even though I know many of you have had many highly successful transactions with him.

I live in the UK, which is why I'm more concerned about the fact it still isn't here Sad

Still waiting, so going to try contacting him again I think.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Thank you for the replies.

As it seems he's generally very good I'll give him more time; if people are generally prompt then i'm sure there's a good reason for the delay Smiley

Will give him another week and then will consider again what to do next.

Will keep you informed.

Galea, please let me know if you hear anything; maybe he doesn't think i'm a very worthy customer  ROFL!
9  General Stuff / Ebay and Paypal quibbles/problems / Ebay seller 'card vault'? on: February 22, 2007, 11:55:02 PM
Hiya everyone,

Bought an item from this seller on 13th Feb, and sent PayPal payment that night. I paid the amount for first class postage.

9 days later and I have no parcel, and no response to email Sad

Looking at their feedback it is generally good; they sell a large amount of goods, and only have 6 negs in the last year, a small amount when considered in conjunction with the number of items sold.

Has anyone else had any experience with this seller?

Many thanks
Elaine

11  Harry Potter / Old Diagon Alley / Re: Prisoner of Azkaban Basic Trading Cards for swap or sale on: February 03, 2007, 05:00:51 AM
De Orc;

No-one else has contacted me about these cards yet, so as far as i'm concerned those you listed are yours Smiley

Do you have 7 spare basic GoF cards you'd be willing to swap them for? Any from that set are fine; not looking for any particular numbers.

Hi Roz

The cards say Cards Inc on the bottom; I hope that isn't a problem? I confess I didn't even realise they were different  Embarrassed

This will be the start of my Goblet of Fire collection so any cards are fine; i decided it would be easier to start my collection by swapping the spare PoAs for GoF ones if possible.

Let me know which ones you need and I'll consult my spares list Grin
14  Harry Potter / Old Diagon Alley / Prisoner of Azkaban Basic Trading Cards for swap or sale on: January 26, 2007, 10:09:46 PM
Hey everyone.

I have quite a lot of spare basic PoA cards as i started my collection with a retail box; there are also quite a few foils.

I'm looking to swop these for Goblet of Fire cards if possible; i've listed them on eBay but there seems to be no interest, so i was wondering if anybody on here would be interested in doing some swaps for free, the only cost being postage?

Thanks for reading,
Elaine
