Aside from eBay not many however if you wanted some of them let me know and I can probably help you out. I have been shipping UK only Dr Who figures to an artist in the US for a while now

I don't personally have a lot of the Potter figures left but I am always in the shops and I can pick up some of the bargains as I see them. Some of the shops over hear are knocking figures out for £2.00-£2.50 range. I think Play.com had the Castle playset for £9.99 which is a massive drop from £49.99 but shipping to the US on that item would be a killer. I will see what I can find online.

Were one in the same in case any of you didnt know they made the nice 3.75" Harry Potter figures in the UK and it looked like a worldwide release for them with the next film however they are no more Popco is in receivership and look likely to be wound up.  Get the figures while you can because when they are gone they really will be gone. Popco was part of Corgi International (the UK offices) and Corgi Int. is not looking so good at the moment...  (not to be confused with Corgi Classics which is wholly owned by Hornby) Sad news.

Actually they look surprisingly nice. The Harry is a little odd but definitely him and when you consider the size these guys are very detailed. Worth picking up I think. At least the first few while it's cheap and then deicide. You can cancel them any time apparently. I didnt get the free bookend but I am told it will come in later. 

Just a heads up for the folks in the UK I thought this might have been cancelled but then issue 1 and 2 arrived in the post today so perhaps not! They are actually very nice. This is the link to it.

Artbox had to have seen this coming.  I imagine they weren't getting images since things weren't progressing well.

Artbox needs a new license.  You can't survive on Harry Potter alone in the card business.  Though it seems like Artbox is trying...

Things were "progressing" just fine from what I understand the film is basically done, WB have moved it because they want to make sure they have a good film for 09. The whole thing is crazy and it is going to hurt a lot of company's  Popco for one is going to suffer a great deal as they will be unable to release any of the toys that have been in production for the last several months. I imagine Artbox probably have a ton of images and the set is probably near completion.  This move isn't about the film not being ready.

I think this is something that should really be considered for inclusion in the online price guide. We are going to be buying into this a lot more than I first expected, and at the prices the boxes will work out at in the UK it's going to be a great seller here and across the pond. One tip for anyone wanting these cards: Don't buy from cards ink! I just got there pricing information and they are WAY over priced. Another UK supplyer has just popped up with these for pre-order at a very reasonable price and you will probably find boxes selling for the £30-£35 mark as apposed to the £40-£45 price they would have been otherwise. We are going to start taking orders next week at the lower prices and we will be splitting cases as well. (I want some of these sketch cards!)

because of the prices being offered I would expect these to sell out fast. If you guys decide to put it in the price guide I will haply submit a ton of ebay results! The cards look great.

No they banned DHMO for good reasons, I mean the drowning threat and it's contribution to acid rain was obvious so it had to go... No one has ever been killed by a toploader as far as I know however.. 

No I kid you not at the moment Toploaders are in fact not legally importable into the UK. Every supply we and several other company's we are in communication with ave come back with the same story, TheInThing, Cards Ink (who have not suppled them for a while) Hobby Games and Safe UK all imported Ultra Pro and Max Pro products and them wholesaled them on which was great, but it seems that there is some sort of technical problem about what chemicals are used in the manufacture of the plastics and as such all official importations have been halted.   Trying to find out any solid information on the issue is difficult but our account manger at Hobby Games said they have been told there is no chance if importing any of them for some time. Ultra pro refuse to comment and there other products (9 pages and comic bags ect) are still widely available. This was talked about on the cardtalk board a while ago as well. I am trying to get a nice person in the US to ship me some at a reasonable price under the radar.  Its a daft situation. Unbelievable but sadly true!

Well its already starting,they are now ensuring our protection on all gaming consoles as well. They simply make more money when they can fleece you with paypal as well as normal fees.

Yes, in the past he has outbid me one or two things, he seems to have a lot of good feedback and it says fast payment so I would imagine you would have no problems. You require your bidders to have a paypal account though? Are you related to any of the Nazis who run Stalag eBay? They have just started requiring sellers accept PayPal as there ONLY form of payment in some categories.. There quest to screw us never ends...

Some of the shipping descriptions (like the base cards on the outside and taped down) I can understand. because of the UK ban on the importation of toploaders (which is just stupid) some of us are having to become more creative in the way we ship. At the moment I am having to place the card in a soft sleeve, then into a ziplock bag which is wrapped around the card for padding and then taped onto an over sized bit of cardboard before a second section is taped onto the other side. Then it is placed into a padded envelope. Not only is this time consuming it's also just a real pain in the ass. As such my shipping charges have gone up because it takes longer to sort out an order. I live for the day when I can just toss the cards back into toploaders and ship them out, However I am not willing to pay like $10.00 for 25 toploaders so I can give them away, not when they used to be less than a quarter of that price.

In the UK at least it may not be a case of not wishing to ship these things safely it could because of not being able to. If you buy a card in the UK you will most likely not receive it in a toploader.

Its out and shipping now, I have several boxes on the way via UPS and they should be here today.

Have you considered a gallery subscription service for people? The way the price guide is set out is very smart indeed, with your options to view thumbnails or sets by list and all the other options. I imagine there are several members who would pay a small monthly fee to have this sort of thing set up for them to upload and organize there images to. Nothing drastic just something like ttp://www.theyakshack.co.uk/username_of_subscriber  they could have there own webmail accounts or what ever and you would be getting some of the money back for the server. Just thought I would toss that out there for you to consider. I mean I could be totally wrong and you have no space left at all on this thing or you have no inclination to do anything of the sort lol never mind me I shall shut up now

Does anyone know where I can get the four prequel comics that tie the new Superman Returns film in with the initial dissaperance and supermans returns by DC Comics im in the UK and have been searching but had no joy.Just want to read these as im not much of a comic reader at all and dont want to watch the film and get lost.

They keep turniong up on eBay but I can have a look next weekend as I will be set up at a comic fair on the saterday. Let me know if you are still looking for these and if you are I will grab them for you. (I doubt they will be much but if they are I will not hold you to buying them )

Hi mate, Your obviously from around the same area as me (wonder if I know you?) Your prices are and please don’t take this badly, but they are well overpriced, you want £900 for a set of Superman costumes. No autos just the costumes, and lets be honest it costs less than £200.00 to put a set together from eBay. Sorry but I think you need to re-think the prices you have on some of these things. 10 out of 10 for trying
