So I had about 150 Order of the Phoenix update cards scheduled on ebay, and I will usually just schedule them for some date out in the future and then push them out as I go a long, having some of them start different nights, a minute a part, and all that jazz.  Well I forgot to push them out so I had 150+ cards all start at the exact time, in the middle of the night, and rather than end them and start them at a better time, I am just going to let it ride....so here is  your chance to pick up some steals on these cards!!!

Well...I finally got around to posting mine...what fun it was to open as each gift was individually wrapped...my daughter loved it!!     So here is what my wonderful Secret Santa sent me:

I made an offer of $490/case for 2 cases, and he accepted, and $30 shipping for the 2, so it came out to be $505/case, so if anyone is interested, possibly he will accept a similar offer     I think that with Tom Felton and Helena Bonham Carter, its going to be a pretty popular set...but we shall see   And yes, I am sure I will pull some nice variants to offer up for sale

Wow...that is just crazy (not that there is anything wrong with him being gay)...but like mentioned...why bring it up now?  What next...will Hogwart's students come forward with accusations of "inappropriate" advances from Dumbledore?  I just don't get why she would do that.

I was getting a little worried, so I sent an email...this was the response:

So it sounds like it will be a few more weeks.  I think I sent in about 40+ redemptions, so it will be nice to get them back

Did someone say Tim Tams?!?!!?  Dang those were yummy!!!   

Well, I had a wedding to go to in AZ on Friday, so my wife and I decided to drive and stop at the Star Trek convention on the way back, and had a blast!!!   Would love to have spent all 4 days there, but we were just there on Sunday for Shatner and Nimoy.  Got some pics with them, which I will post up as soon as I get them from creation.  But here is a great picture we got with Richard Kiel.  He was such a cool guy, we talked to him for about 15 minutes and got some stuff signed, and he let Syd pick out any picture she wanted and he signed it and give it to her for free!!! What an awesome guy!!!



And here is the Shatner/Nimoy piece that I had autographed.  Some of you might recognize the aritst by his awesome pencil work!!!  I can't begin to tell you how amazing it looks in person, and can't wait to frame it up!!!




Definitely would have loved to seen some artists hanging out there, but it was still a great time!!!

No, I really wasn't, as I don't really collect props too much, but that one is cool, and I know how crazy Potter bidders can be....I was of course off by a close to $300!!!!  I really didn't think it would clear $1,000!!!!     CRAZY!!!

And then, he showed up at Shell Cottage to announce he was a father and stayed there drinking instead of being with his wife and new son?  If my husband had done that to me after our kids were born, he wouldn't have been a very happy camper after I was able to get out of bed.   I hope she talks about this in the interviews that are coming up.

I just went back and re-read that part, as it made me wonder, and it really didn't seem like he stayed in the cottage that long, maybe a matter of 10-15 minutes at most, but maybe I missed something.  And with being able to pop in and out instantly that really isn't too bad, especially as I don't think Lupin had much family other than the ones in the cottage (but then I am a guy and my perspective might be off )   

Finished it earlier today....loved it!!!   Would have like a longer epilogue after seven books to track more of my favorite characters, but its all good

Total sketches   9762

Which gives us an estimated total sketches and signed cards of 22,115.  Also an estimated 492,040 packs, 20,502 boxes, and 2,563 cases.  At the 20,502 boxes and 22,115 total premium inserts it leaves 1,613 premium inserts to either be held back for damages or to allow for an extra premium insert every 3 cases as indicated in the above odds.  Some will be held back for damaged cards, but I doubt that 1,613 cards will be held back, so I think you can look forward to getting 1 sketch or autograph in every box.  And if you don't get one or the other, I would still send the empty box to topps, and I would hope they would take care of the problem, as they always have for the products I have bought from them.
