: Seller problem - non-sportman
: ferdinand_the_yak December 01, 2006, 05:46:21 PM
I bought a MM box from them on the 25th of October... was told 7-14 days shipping. I gave them 4 weeks and sent them a query last week requesting tracking info. No response. Sent query again (to Ebay and email accounts). Still no response.

If I give them another week and still get no response, am I justified in filing a claim leaving a neg? I bought from them a couple of times no problem which is why I am a bit hesitant, however their customer service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. Their communication is poor at the best of times, but this is ridiculous >:()

Considering that I paid $35 to ship the damn thing, I am very very annoyed >:() >:() >:() >:()

I have waited up to 6 weeks from this seller but judging by the postmark, it was the postal sevices fault.

It's not so much the time I have been waiting, rather it's the total lack of communication. I don't mind waiting if I know it's been delayed (whether it's from the seller or PO), but I would appreciate being told. I avoid buying anything from non-sportman if I need to ask them a question as I know that I never get an answer.

The post is painfully slow at the moment, but 4 weeks is a bit ridiculous. I say file a claim; that might get them communicating.

I would try to contact them one more time and if there is still no response, then you could leave a negative that says you didn't receive the item and they didn't respond to three emails.  You're nearing the end of the 45-day limit for filing a PayPal claim, too.

Use the "Item not received" button on the ebay auction... that'll get their attention... if they don't respond to that within a couple of days, I'd file with paypal.  I wouldn't leave negative feedback... yet.

I agree with tialessa, wait with (negative) feedback until you either have your product delivered or your money back from paypal.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I've gone with tialessa's advice and filed an 'item not received' claim with Paypal. I sent a message to the seller saying that I hope we could sort this out soon as I have had good transactions with them before.
