Binder Case Incentive Gold Promo Cards, set of four.
(The binder has  Promo 03 and Promo 04 only  but, is with Silver Foil):

These seem to be the same Promos given out at the San Diego Comic Convention, except these are in gold foil.

Aw poodles I was hoping for that one which was really hard to get before. I've got those although possibly with different foil (I never paid attention to what colour it was - honestly and I call myself a yak ::) )

My heart started pounding when I saw someone responded to this thread! I thought I would finally see some of the cards from the set! Well, I hope someone gets some tomorrow.

Yeah, I really thought someone was going to get their's by today.  :'( Oh well.

Your wish has come true!  Kelly just got her case (she sent me a PM).  She apologizes for not posting herself to let you know, but she does not want to run in to any pictures as she wants to be surprised with her case (although, there is nothing here yet to spoil it for her :P).  She will be psting pictures and her breakdown later today or tonight, as she has some things she needs to do during the day with her children!  So keep an eye out right here!

I just left to get my 5 year old from Kindergarden and I passed a FedEx truck on the road!! I totally tensed up and watched my rearview mirror to see if it turned into my drive, but it didn't!  >:() >:()

The case is here!  I'm going to open slowly and right now I'm refereeing two 2 year olds who won't get along today  >:(), but I will try to get more scans up later.  Some base cards, some foils, BT4, film card #259/300, Death Eaters robe #158/250  ;D  Actually the back says "material used to create"  :P  but it's still really cool!  It feels really soft which was a suprise.  And Dragon case topper.  More to come later today if I can get a kid break.  Enjoy!

They look fantastic!  But, oh no, the filmcards!  The print run for each was 900 for POAU, 399 for SS, and now 300 for GOF.  It's going to be a lot tougher to make a complete set.

The film cell card has a scene of the first task and I think it looks like the dragons tail.

That means that there are 200 less filmcards for the total GOF release (300x9=2700) then there was Remus Lupin coat costume cards (2900) for PoAU. How appalling.  :P

Especially when you look at it that way. :-\

You can pre-order cases from one of Artbox's distributors, I don't think dealers are allowed to order direct from the manufacturer.  Most of us here order through Tom of tomunique.  If you live in the US, Tom can arrange to have Artbox drop-ship your cases directly to you.  Since  you live in Canada, the cases would have to be sent to a distributor first and then he/she would forward it to you with the proper Customs form completed.  As far as I know, no one is taking pre-orders for GoFU yet.  That probably won't happen until a month before its release.  Hope this helps you.

Guess what!!  I just checked the trcking on my 4 boxes, and they are sitting on my patio.,  My patio!!!!  I hope they are still sitting there when I get home.  They have been there for almost 5 hours already!!  This is killing me.  Of course, I want to enjoy opening them, so I might actually wait until Saturday.  I know, I am insane.  No need to tell me that.

Don't worry I know the feeling but it won't work because you don't want to open them without Ryan, just as I wouldn't want to without Mark. Keep breathing (that's the key). But I must say I think you will find it hard to keep them sealed until Saturday ;D stranger things have happened though ;)

You have no idea.  Especially since they are sitting on my patio and I live in a condo association.  Anyone can see the box there!!! AHHHHHH!!!   Ryan will be home soon.  He wants to wait until Saturday, so he will just have to put up with me until then :P He also does not want to look on the forum at these lovely pictures so he can be surprised.  Party pooper.

The Quidditch program can be seen in the background of that card.  The colors look great.  Very shiny!!

I'm going to talk to my mom and see if I can go Saturday ;D The IMAX theater we got to is HUGE and it shouldnt be that crowed since its not conntected to a mall like are closer theater ;D

Bloody h*ll, I thought Artbox staggering the shipping was so that everyone was supposed to recieve their's at roughly the same time. I have a costume set now....I will post a picture REEAAAAAAAALLLLLLLY late tonight after I get back from the midnight showing...I will also have my trades up tomorrow morning so I can attempt to finish off the couple of prop/autograph/filmcards I need. Yule Ball Poster Prop - I think this one may have been held until the update set.

It is doubtful that we WONT get the extra 3 autos and the two props....as they were in Artbox's advertising that they released....the only info that we even got from them so I think they are guaranteed to be in this set...but I think they are low numbered.

The dumbledores costume I dont know if that was confirmed by any artbox adverts so dont know...

The fact that one hasn't been pulled yet means that you chances of getting one are that much better! :)

Do we know if there are hot boxes?

I know this is opening a can of worms but I heard that Rupert Grint did sign for this set. I heard this from the shop I buy from and I guess they heard it from artbox. Anyone else heard this I hope it's true so collectors have a chance to get one. My Wife has the update one but I had to trade a LOTR chrome master set for it. I have to admit though it was worth it for the look on Her face.  :o

Artbox had Hotboxes in the first PoA set.  The box had almost a master swet in it without case incentives, two very rare props, and I think maybe Hermiones auto, but that might have been in there.  ztaylork from this forum got one.

Bryan opened 4 cases and no Rupert so I am thinking Update. I heard Radcliffe may sign for that also. I just hope it doesn't become a fiasco like Azkaban update. >:() and artbox keeps it limited to 6000-8000 boxes. I guess We will see.

I hope the update has less than 8000 boxes.....

However, from the update last time, there are people here who opened a ton more than Bryan, and only pulled one of each big auto....if that. There is still hope.

I know one of those people and I see Him every morning when I look in the mirror  (:D#
Julie and I opened several cases(yes I'm being evasive) and We only got 1 Emma I know boo frickity hoo but since We opened 4 cases of the first Azkaban and got 4 Emmas HELLOOO!!!!!!!! something was very rotten in Denmark when it came to update. >:()

I had heard this rumour...I have a feeling that there will be a Ron auto in this one. Brian didn't get a Gary Oldman auto either so there are still some that have not been found...I think that the Sirius and Ron will surface soon  ;)

My only worry is that there are only 50 - 100 of each. But I hope I am wrong. :o=

Yeah, in one of my boxes!!!  I could only be so lucky.

All the costume and prop cards I pulled are the same thickness, so I guess most of these are pretty uniform except for the Dark Arts book.  Good news on that!  I think about 120pt?  But I'm not sure.  I'm going for some cases tomorrow.

I think we are way too early into the opening to discount an auto yet.  If AB follows their pattern I think you should figure there are an auto or two (maybe 3 or 4) that are limited to 100-150 (give or take a little).  With 600 cases I think we only have the results from around 6 cases.  Odds would be at best 1 in 4 or 6 cases.

Anna is less than 100 miles from Artbox, I am like 350 miles from Artbox and no luck for me today.  California is a long state it is probably a good two days to Oregon by ground delivery for sure.  for SS you got your case the day before me so I would think you have a good chance of getting it Friday unless you have a tracking # that is saying Monday.  I wouldn't give up yet.

I got my SS case the day before you? Blimey, that's messed up (good memory, by the by). Don't get my anger at a lack of case as not being happy that Anna got hers, 'cause it is good indeed that she did. I just wanted to have it before I go see the movie in 1 hour and 58 minutes. Oi vey.  0:)

I really think that has to be #1 on my list so far, I guess it will depend who I liked the most in the movie.  What color is the swatch Anna it looks silver in the scan, but light blue in the pic on the card ???

It looks more silver than blue, but the diamond shaped lines are raised and are pale blue.  This is my favorite costume of all the ones I pulled. 8)

These all look so cool. So is there a costume card in every case like the break down suggests. And have there been any boxes with only one insert?

I tried mine in 120 pt. cases, but there was some wiggle room.  Maybe 100 pt. cases would be better.

Bryan thought the Book card was as big or bigger than the monster book.  I guess nothing still beats Fluffy's fur and the Devils snare, huh?

Did the Foil Cards have a Puzzle on the backside again?

Yes.  It's the same image as the tin with the four Triward champions.

I have not seen another color Fleur, but there are both Black and Yellow Cedrics'...I believe the black is the harder to find

Bryan pointed out in another thread that the first trailer was used for the filmcards.  It had images of the kids through all four movies.  We can expect to find other cells like this.  At least you have a variant with the two different cells!

Gbream111 - I am away from a scanner now so I cannot scan the back of the hermione card, however, It is an AUTHENTIC costume card, NOT material used to make. The only three costume cards that do not contain the real costume are: Rita Skeeter, Death Eater Robe, and Viktor's Shirt (the one numbered to 400) the rest are all the real thing

Cindy, I think one card has cells of Harry, and the second cardf has cells of Ron.  I don't think that one card had each cell.  Kelly, please clarify for us?

Yes, it seems that there aren't much variants in this set. We have to wait for the Update with all the candy wrappers i saw again in the movie.  ::)

Candy Wrappers heck; I want the Chuddley Cannons pennant that I saw in the movie by Ron's bed to go into a card. And the pages from the books they were looking at in the library; that'd have killer varients. And a blooming Daily Prophet! There were only, what, a good half dozen of them shown in the film or so? Shouldn't be that hard for Artbox to get their hands on.  >:D

I cannot believe there wasn't a Daily Prophet in this set. Especially since the movie has Rota Skeeter...plus, I saw at LEAST 3 different Papers in the film last night. I guess we will have to wait for the update set.

Don't forget the flags and the Quidditch Program too.....

The Krum one, it is his Champion costume that comes in two colors?  The one numbered to 400?

I think you will find good variants with these, but they will be as rare as the dual costume variants.  I think Harrys first task robe could have some of them too.

And I am sure you will get a Daily Prophet in the update.  Especially if they sneak on this forum and hear us all talking about it ;)

Probably silly to ask, but, when are we going to see the case insentive card scans? We haven't seen any of those yet (and by the by, after seeing the movie last night, I saw the trophy room, but I'll be hornswaggled if I saw the Monolith Trophy anywhere in it)

The incentives show up later (a week about...or a couple days).  I think they are sent seperately.....maybe......not sure though...

Artbox will drop ship the cases to customers, but they send the incentives to the distributors who then mail those cards to their buyers.  We should be seeing them soon. :)

I also have a Moody auto and a dual Weasley auto that brightened me up!!

As for the thickness.  That sucks.  My store only carries 30pt, 50pt, 120pt and 130pt.  And the ones I like the most for my cards, I think are only 50 pt.  I need to see if they come in 100 or 120........ Will these be okay in 120 even if there is some room left in there?

That was discussed in this thread. This is off the top of my head, but I think it's pages 7 and 8, then again on 10 and 11 (HPfamily provides a comparison picture on Page 11 of the Grim Fur and some card from this set).

In one of the posts, Cindy suggested a 100 pt case because the cards would have wiggle room in the 120 pt cases.

According to two different dealers, there are in fact 14 autographs. I have posted pictures of the 11 I pulled from my 5 cases earlier in this thread. However, neither dealer knew who the other three signers are. Obviously one must be Gary Oldman since they did advertise it on one of their sale sheets.

Not to be an arse, but were they specific? 14 autographs, or 14 autograph cards? 'Cause, and I may just be being a bit to literal here, I know, but the double Weasley card is two autographs. One card, but two autographs, yes? Just a thought, though, as I said, I may just be to literal on that.

Wow 3 we haven't seen yet, do you think that means most of them went in the UK cases?  You know how Artbox is with there collation.  They may have packed them out in the first 3rd of cases and most went to a geographical area :-\  Probably not, but just throwing it out...it would be great for our UK shackers, but not for this side of the pond.

Or maybe they are all in the Japan cases.

Just a comment on collation.  I sorted my GoF base cards from my first case and was only able to complete 18 sets.  Set 19 was short #89.  The SS set's collation was much better, I got 20 complete base sets per case.

I am extremely pleased ;D  Although I still have two boxes to go, these two made my day!!  Especially since the one box had the one prop I wanted from this set, and one of the lowest numbered costume cards.  And after seeing the movie, I fell in love with Cedric, so was very pleased with that as well!!

Hi looking at this thread dosent look like anyone has said that the first Diggory and Black Autos have been found and are on ebay as part of a collection of the other autos. :ebay:

Has anyone starting collating base sets?  I did mine and was able to get only one base set per box. ::)  Between my two boxes, I'm two cards shy of a third set.

Terrific cards everyone!  They must be using some of the inside pages of the World Cup prop, unless some of those designs shown are on the back cover.  Can you guys who pulled the quidditch program tell me if your prop card is paper or a plastic swatch?I collated a couple of sets while I was opening and got 2 sets per box.  I stopped doing that at the 2nd box though.  :P

Kelly, mine is paper.  Are  you the one who pulled the other one?  Paper or plastic?  If you look at the card, on the top of the program is a brownish tag.  Look at my scan, it seems the same exact color.  Not sure what that is, but I think it came with the program maybe :-\

Well yours is definitely from the front of the program.  I think the other two we have seen so far might be from the same thing as mine.....but I could be wrong.  This card will have loads of variations.  No two will be the same.

I haven't seen a pic yet I think someone said they are up on ebay but I just pulled this auto....for me this is the 3rd Oldman auto (after POA and Batman) I feel so connected to him :rofl:

I don't think so. Strange, 3 Dark Forces books appeared (75) but none Paperwork (95).

Sara - the program that was aired here in the UK earlier this evening showed a LOT of the behind-the-scenes stuff in the making of GOF and one of the props which the presenter picked up and commented on was the Quidditch World Cup Program - he opened it up and all the pages were there ... adverts printed on them and information about the Bulgarian and Irish teams were what I saw and he did say, that they'd done all this knowing that none of it would be filmed or seen in the film - the detail was amazing!!
Bearing that in mind, it's quite possible that the yellowish prop you pulled is probably from one of these inside pages and not the tag hanging next to the Program in the pic.

Yes, the pages looked like they were meant to be parchment and definitely a yellowish colour. ;)
I know Roz taped the program (sorry, I didn't) so with any luck she'll be able to rewind that bit of the tape and hopefully give you a bit more information on what was on the inside of the Program.
Perhaps there will be a bit more made of them and the whole World Cup once the DVD is released? :o=

I just finished opening my second and final case.  Here are scans of the highlights.  This case was definitely better than my first case, but this case had 3 Neville's PJs, so in my 2 cases I pulled 5 of them total. :P  Also, the second case had 4 props and 4 autos which was fine with me since I like the props better anyways. ;D

The Quidditch Cup programs are great.  Mine is not a plastic swatch, it is more like parchment.  Seems they used the inside and out. Wonder which ones are harder to find :-\

I love the Yule Ball Poster  ;D That's a nice letter variant there! The other one we saw was the mult-colored snowflake part probably. The Tiana Benjamin Auto is a nice variant, too. The other ones have been clearly written. I don't think you've lost your Midas touch, yet :o=

I got some damaged base cards too.  Anyone else?

The grey one was for the 400 card series and upon checking the brown green it must have be a light trick, it's too close to really be different. But I do also have two red and the two brown.
As far as the Beauxbatons C7, I have six of those; five are dark blue only one grey blue like # 18.

I pulled # 800 of 800 of C14.

Out of all the cards I think that Yule Ball one is my favourite so far, that and Anna's Program.  I can't wait for someone to find the bit of the Yule Ball invite with the two dancing people.  I suppose I will have to wait now till  Tower gets his cases  ;) ;D

I like the Yule Ball drapes for the silver shine, and my favorite prop is the Quidditch Program.  I like how mine is different, not plastic, but of course, I have no clue where it is from.  I do however like the bright color combinatons found on the front, and so far, Anna's does seem to be the most unique ;)

John, Bryan or HPfamily, can you tell us if the Dark Forces book swatch is metal?  It looks like it.  Also, I'm having a hard time deciding if I want a Yule invite, or a Yule poster.  Which is more flashy?  Are they both shiny?  ;D

The yule Ball invite is very shiny, the ones I have seen have all been silver. The poster on the other hand (for what I have seen) is white and of course there is coloring if you can pull a good swatch

This probably is a little off topic (sorry) but I had this crazy nightmare last night where I opened my four GOF boxes, got the same four box-toppers, and the all had Aragorn (!!???) on them. Then i went through all four boxes, and didnt find a single special insert. Then I carefully went through all the cards again, found one very damaged prop card. Its safe to say I woke feeling a touch stressed this morning, though Im sure in reality my luck will be better than that...  :P

From my 2 cases, I pulled 2 grey-blue, 0 dark blue of C7.  And I beat you on the C9 inserts, I pulled 5 Neville's PJs in 2 cases. ::)

Anna, I now have broke out 7 cases and have 13 of the Nevile PJs, C9. At least there is some variation in the stripe pattern. These PJs are not near as much fun as the Teddy Bears were.
I still ahven't pulled a Dragon Bag (P9? is it?). Also still need the big 3 autographs. Also the 8th case toppper has failed to yield a Riddle Graveyard. I got 6 Fire Breathing Dragons (FBD) and 2 Dragon Chasing Harry (DCH).

The reason why people get cases is to avoid duplicates.  I feel sorry for people only getting a few boxes and end up pulling nothing but Neville costumes. :(  LIke you said, it wouldn't be bad if there were Teddy Bears, but these stripes are boring. :P

My 3 case toppers were all of the Dragon Chasing Harry (1 case I sold the boxes). ::)

How many more cases do you have to open yet John?  You still have a chance to get those elusive inserts, right?

Yeah but when you think about it, there HAS to be a duplicate costume in each case, I mean really....would you have been happy with 7 costumes and 3 props per case with no duplicate or a costume in EACH box like he have now for the FIRST TIME. I am definetly happy knowing that every single box I buy has at least a costume in it. The Neville is numbered to 900, the lower cards are all around 300. Therefore, if there is 1 or maybe 2 low numbered cards per case, they still need to make up for the extra with a duplicate costume card

But there are still other high numbered costumes C14 Karkaroff’s Costume /800, C7 Beauxbatons Students Costume /800, C11 Barty Crouch Jr.’s Costume /800, even C6 Durmstrang Students Costume /725.  They could have divided those up into the case instead of putting three C9s. :P  I'm just saying that Artbox could have improved on their collation of costumes within cases.

John, you say you have not yet pulled the three big autos.....we are considering Ron, Sirius, and who as the third?  Cedric or the dual?

Also, I notice most Bulgarian flags seem black, and most Cedrics costumes are yellow.  Do those of you opening many cases seem to see the same thing?

Wow, good price on the tin and Harry costume.  Which do you guys like better, the 2 case incentive or the ones inserted in packs?

I haven't seen them both close up Sara but I find it very hard to choose - both the 2 case and the pack /400 are very nice cards ;D

I believe there is a death eater wand prop as a 25 case incentive but we haven't seen it yet - I hope it's gone ahead.

What exactly is the Tin Incentive Prop card?  I bought one I couldn't pass it up at that price for a rather rare prop.  I just know I liked it and picked a pretty nice one out.

Looks to me like trial chamber paperwork.  Does anyone else think that's a bit dissapionting?  To have the pack pulled trial paperwork at such a low number, but to have the tin case incentive of the same thing so cheap?  But maybe the pack pulled one is the actual one Crouch was holding in the movie.  ???

I was thinking the same thing.  Two trial chamber paperworks (which I missed on getting and i am not all that thrilled with the ones left listed :-\), 2 deah eater costumes, 2 Harry champion costumes...... What was Artbox thinking ???

I just bought myself the Harry costume 2 case incentive!
I have had a hard day/week :'( , and just sold an two eyeshadows on ebay for $96 and $95 (that's right, an eyeshadow!) so with that money burning a hole in my paypal account I thought I'd treat myself.

I have 2 boxes of SS, 3 of POAU, and a case of GOF on the way, but this Harry card is my first card that I know I own since i have no idea what's in the boxes. 

Thats a great price on the 25 case incentive card, and numbered to only 64, which never makes sense to me as even if all 600 cases were ordered in 25 case increments, that would mean they would only need 24 of these cards, so whats the pupose of having 40 extras?

That's what I was thinking... The Harry card is numbers well above 300, which is all they would need for 2 case incentive seeing there is only 600 cases, right?
I guess they make some extras for damaged ones, but that's a large % over.

I wouldn't panic too much on the 2 case incentive card I think many will have them, you have to remember the dealers get them and then they send them to the people who have them coming.  However the 5, 10 and 25 cases will be a little harder to come by.

It is a piece of the trial chamber paperwork...where dumbledore and harry go into the pensive and see trials of death eaters, there are papers all around...and it looks like this is what is in the swatches.

When I saw the movie, toke me a minute to figure out where Barty (Jr)s card came from :P

I didn't even notice it in the movie....

It covered by his jacket so I only just noticed the collor for a few seconds.

How is the Viktor a varient when it was material used to make the costume?

Is it like they made the symble for a shirt but didnt use it?

Here is a POSSIBLE idea....maybe they have an actual full shirt, it was simply never actually used IN the film, or worn by Viktor.

Most movies have multiple duplicates of costumes....especially a movie like this, it is possible this is just one that never got used, and Artbox is just being Honest about it.

The one of Harry in the Maze...the cels are of Cedric and him in the maze, and the one of the goblet of fire...the cels are of Dumbledore with his hand resting on the goblet

I bought a dragon filmcard without knowing what the cells were.  I received it yesterday and was really excited to see that the cells had a closeup of Cedric in the tent just before the dragon task.  It's not the exact cell/card match I love, but I'm pleased with it anyway. :)

John, I saw you last case breakdown in the other thread and felt really bad for you.  If that had been my case, I would have cried.  You should complain to Artbox about that one.

Well, I am truely happy that it was me that had to eat that one. If someone had bought that from me I would have just died of shame. I'd have had to refund the money on moral grounds.

Sharon it can be the one and only best prop of all the Yule Ball props. After all if someone got the head it would be a blob in the corner we wouldn't recognise because the neck etc is buried in your card.

It might be the lining but its not open anywhere so I cant really tell.

It sure looks like a Bueaxbaton costume to me, I would be shocked if it was a different part of the outfit.  With the other alternate colors we have seen at least a few, I think this is the first one like this we have seen right?

Can someone tell me if you've seen Prop card P4 (Bulgarian Flag) with a two color variant (both red and black)? Or is it just black and just red?

I haven't seen any two colour cards yet but I would imagine there are a lot of unopened boxes out there.

Did we ever decide exactly what this is? His shirt presumably? Maybe it has braid edging and this is what this is - whereas the thin shirt sits at the back of this card (in all Barty Crouches I have seen which is about 5 ;D) this red bit is thick and much deeper (therefore nearer to the front of the card).

Nah he won't sell for my top bid.  But this is the seller I got my POA Candy Card from and that is still the cheapest in the price guide  ;D  Trouble is boxes of cards are just soooooo expensive in the UK.  When you take into account the many and various taxes we pay it is a very expensive hobby buying cases (even more so than in the US).

When the GOF DVD comes out in the spring, we'll be able to pause the movie during the trial scene and get a better look at Crouch's shirt.  I think Sara said her DVD player allows her to zoom in to better see sections of the scene.

Considering they just made the film and I'm sure Artbox was anticipating producing a set, don't you think they could have arranged the purchase of more interesting props?  What is with all this burlap and tent material? 

I think the props used in SS were interesting, despite the fact that the movie had been made several years beforehand.  How was Artbox able to get there hands on decent props that set, but came up with such dull props for GoF?

Granted, they may have some inspiring peices for the proposed GoF Update, but they really dropped the ball on the prop department this time.

I think that Artbox (or any card manufacturer) is at the mercy of the movie studio to provide props and costumes.  A couple of GOF cards have material used to make the costume, rather than the actual costume, because the studio wants to reuse the costumes.

Rittenhouse has sometimes had to go through reputable auctions houses to buy authentic costumes to use in cards.  That might have been the case for the SS set, since it was produced about four years after the movie was released.  There were comments that Artbox had a difficult time acquiring items for SS.

It would seem that Artbox should have had an easier time getting items for GOF, but if the studio won't part with those items, it puts Artbox in a bad spot.  I'm sure they've also held back for GOFU.

I was hoping for the opposite!! I was thinking that there would be more available now that the GOF movie has been released and all premieres are over!!  :-\

We really don't have a lot to go on with Artbox, but look what they did for the cards in the POAU set.  They're much better than POA despite being overproduced.

Just to say I have finally put up pictures of my GOF cards. Although I am getting three more boxes for my birthday tomorrow so know knows what I will find ;) In fact I would mind a Barty C as I just missed out on one for Crocs and my mum didn't tell me about my out bid notice :( And I think David Tennant is a rather cute. Anyway there should be loads of them about ;)

I would consider that seller's feedback to be zero, since he/she hasn't had any transactions since 2000.  The negatives were for non-payment of auction wins.  I'm surprised this person didn't start up a new account.

I dont know much about EBay at the moment, but I'd go for it! He only slipped-up 3 times and it wasnt done selling anything so :-\

With a high end card like this, I would feel safer NOT bidding.

The seller's auctions are not covered by PayPal Buyer Protection, just the standard protection.  The only way you might want to chance an auction like this is to pay with a credit card through PayPal, and then if the item doesn't show up, you can do a chargeback on the credit card.

It's complicated, and I'm sure eBay and PayPal do it on purpose.  PayPal Buyer Protection covers up to $1,000 US for any single purchase.  You can make only three Buyer Protection claims in a calendar year. 

If you use all three claims in one year, or the seller isn't qualified for Buyer Protection (based on feedback score and other criteria), then the dispute falls back to the PayPal Buyer Complaint Process or the eBay Standard Purchase Protection Program.  PayPal will try to resolve the dispute, but there's no guarantee that they will be able to recover all or even part of your money.  The protection through eBay is capped at $200 minus a $25 fee.

The seller is question does not qualify for PayPal Buyer Protection.  If you won the auction for $100 and did not receive the card, you might get back $75.  However, if you use your credit card to pay through PayPal, you can have the credit card company issue a chargeback to recover your money.  Of course, you'll need to check your credit card company's policy on this. 

Thanks Cindy  :)  That is complicated and they certainly don't publicise the difference.  I will definitely have a check with my credit card company but I have a rotten feeling they don't cover internet shopping any more (a lot of the UK card companies have sneakily slipped this into their terms and conditions).

I think I will watch this for a bit longer - I really want it but don't want to risk losing that kind of money  :-\

That's approximately 24 boxes' worth of inserts (at two per box).  The best cards are the Moody auto, Harry costume, and the burnt tent props.  The rest were fairly common, with lots of duplicates.

The seller is definitely the winner here

What I find worrying is that the seller used a link to the Yak Shack's Price Guide pictures in lieu of posting pictures.  This could be misinterpreted that the Shack had something to do with this auction. :-\

His "photo" of the Moody auto is also from the Shack.

I found an ended CatCF auction by the same seller that also used a link to the Shack and used a Shack picture of Veruca Salt.

Lots of people use the Shacks images on there auctions and half the time dont give credit  :(

Seller's aren't supposed to use the Shack's images at all.  Sellers need to provide there own pictures for their auctions.  That's why all the Shack's images are watermarked, so people can't steal the pictures for their own use.

Actually, eBay does not allow sellers to use pictures and scans that were taken from other auctions or other sources.  If you find that someone is using your image, eBay will take action.

I've always been wary about sellers who use pictures from other auctions or wherever.  I like to SEE the card I'm buying.  I want to know what the swatch is...especially if it's a relatively rare card.  I don't have a problem with a seller who normally uses "stock" photos (from his own collection) so long as they make that clear AND state that IF there is a variant, they will photograph it.  But taking photos from the Yak Shack's price guide just isn't right, let alone permitted.  :-[

Finally got one of my SDCC 8x10 Cards in today...been having trouble with the mail for some reason, bought a tie set from Tomuniqe which hasn't arrived yet and been going on nearly 2 weeks and the burnt tent 8 X10 that still hasn't shown up from southern California and that been over 3 weeks...still checking the mail every day................singing !!!!!!!!
