As usual, Sharon will be attending (on the end of a phone  :rofl: ) and I will have a folder of trades. You can't miss me - I usually look as though I've got a paving slab in my bag  ::)

Yep, by mid afternoon you'll see all the dealers with their ear to a radio, and in the passages some tumbleweed will roll slowly from one passage to another.

As much as I'm a dedicated follower of all things movie and film related, I can't give up my whole weekend to standing in queues, Maggie Grace will be back... Christopher Lee (most likely) will not (I'm not suggesting anything about his age, I'm just judging by the fact that he said he'd never do a convention ;D).

£45 an auto * 1000 = £45,000.

Not that I wouldn't get his autograph, as long as he dosn't go into Bill Shatner mode (6 autos per minute)

I think you'll find that he is paid a fee for appearing and the auto price is set by the organiser. Considering some of the one minute wonders that sign for between £15 - £20, I think this is excellent value for one of the all time greats  ;D

I agree, I would pay for his auto if I could go, but I can't.

I have an important date with the Pub and TV on Saturday about 4.00 p.m. ;D ;D

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but forget about the football. If we loose, we're out, and if we win, you can see them on Wednesday. Unless Christopher Lee is going to be at your pub, you are maybe missing out on a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Well my pub is about 200+ miles away from London, so that also has a factor.

Just a heads up to any of you hoping to meet Christopher Lee. Apparently he is only going to sign for 400 people. One auto each. This info comes from the UK Garrison web site. If this is correct there is going to be a big rush for tickets.

400 autographs is a lot of signing for a man of his age and is normaly very warming to his fans but I can see a mass rush or stampede to get a ticket.

Unfortunately we regret to announce that due to a minor incident in which he injured his leg, Christopher Lee will no longer be able to attend LFCC this weekend. I know that this will come as a disappointment to many of you (and indeed to us as we were very much looking forward to working with him), however we will be working to bring him to a future event. We would like to pass on Mr Lee's regret that he cannot join you tomorrow but he is looking forward to attending at a later date.

We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to working with him in the future.

I am sorry for everyone who was going to get his auto this weekend.

But now I should be able to get his auto at the next Collectormania. ;D

hi all I am now home safely after LFACC and it was greeat to see Roz, Mark, Graham and Dawn

It was a good show for me better than all the others i have been to this year :)

Did you see John Barrowman Chris? He was wondering about loose at one point.

I caught a quick glance of him at the signing table but that was it

but Herley was wandering on saturday morning and i saw him

It was a good weekend but i am so glad to be home my feet hurt and i am very tired I have to say even though it was my birthday today i was not at my best at the show my brain was not working
at one point i tried to charge £72 for £22 worth of cards but that was a lot to do with the fact I could not work my calculator ;)
