Still undecided...two weeks now no official name (I call her boo boo until I get the official name, but that is not going to be the name I think).

I will try to post a pic, I have to get film and a camera battery she is growing very fast (I think it is a she?)

I am getting resistance on the girlfriend front from any name having to do with LOTR of HP.  She wants Monet (over my dead body).
So we will see must be decided before Thanksgiving though (maybe I will name her Turkey)

I also was trying out Tigger....? like on winnie the pooh Undecided

If you wait too long the cat may go about choosing it's name.
Our younger cat was without a name for awhile since we couldn't decide.
Then she jumped off the balcony/landing of the second story of our house (a long jump!). She gave us all a heart attack but was perfecty fine.
And she was immediately named Skylar.

So if you continue to wait your kitten may just take matters into its own paws...

And no, Monet is not a good name.

I had the same problem naming my middle cat ...  for weeks I called her 'Kitty' as I couldn't make my mind up whether Kizzie would suit her or not ..... but in the end that's what I settled on and a right dizzy Kizzie she was too! Tongue
My first cat I called Minnie, but she was one of those cats which made lots of 'talking/beeping noises' for want of a better description, so she ended up being called Beepie and it really suited her!  Wink
My youngest cat I named Thea, but she also gets called Nitty-Kit ... can't recall why either, probably my son's doing!  Roll Eyes
So it is true ... the cats find their own names in the end! Shocked

Stick to your guns Beckham - no Monet in your house!  Smiley  Well unless it is the real McCoy painting!  Wink

Why do you call her boo boo - I hope she does not have accidents or hurt herself.   Wink  What color is she?

I find it difficult to think of a good name without a picture. DO you have any pix?

My cat got it's name one night when we were sitting in front of the TV watching "The Vicar of Dibley" (re-runs).........speaking of the devil and here she comes ............Dibley

Wow that's 1) a fine name for a cat, and 2) amazing - I thought you were in America... and you have the vicar of Dibley?? America is indeed a blessed land if you have Dawn French as the Vicar of Dibley over there Smiley

I live in Canada, but I was watching The Vicar (pause, the Dibster just showed up and wanted to add her two cents worth)
of Dibley on The American PBS (Public Broadcast System) They play a number of the British comedies albeit they are a few years old at the time (re-runs). I believe the reason for the name was that I asked where the h___ is Dibley and the kitten came running into the room. Question amswered...name born.

My current cats are Tigger, Bandit Smokey and Snowball. Ebony passed away two years ago, and we've had Misty, Kanga and Roo but they've all found better homes Smiley

Umm - not that any of that helps Smiley But my Tigger is a sweetie.

When I was a kid (like 5 or 6), my family got a cat.  I wanted to name it Spike, I have no idea why.  My dad ended up naming it Bruce.  I thought that name sucked.

I like Smokey and Bandit for cat names.  Then you need one called Snowman and Frog.

How about Stinky?  That's the best nickname ever.

I had two strays, a tabby and a white and grey tabby.  They were Calvin and Hobbes.  I don't know why but it always seemed funny to yell "Hobbes!" out the door.

We name our dogs after famous generals.  I have two shih tzus now named Napoleon and Wellington.   Next we are going to have a Rommel and Patton
