Amazing Film, i was stuck in Milton Keynes on haloween so i went to the cinema with a mate, i gave in and decided i would watch Finding Neverland even though i thought it would bore the pants of me  Roll Eyes But it never, it's a brilliant film, Depp has such a good scotish voice in it, and he dresses up as a pirate and is jack sparrow all over again  Cheesy. The main point is, it made me cry which is rare, so i recommend you watch  Smiley Let me know what you think

I cannot wait to see this film and have been looking forward to it since early this year.
You cannot go wrong with Johnny Depp  Kiss
And I'm also a big fan of Kate Winslet. Two fantastic actors and a great story and a great supporting cast.
Bummer is I think it's a couple of months still before it's out here in OZ  Angry
Most reviews are very positive with tons of praise. Especially since it's a Miramax film, expect to see it being pushed come awards season for many categories.
Thanks for another great review. Cannot wait!

freddie highmore is just as good as depp, i was really impressed with him, he is only 8 or so. Can't wait till i see him in willy wonka which also has depp. all these films are tied together with depp lol, i mean in finding neverland you have mckenzie crook who was in Pirates of the carribean and there is another actor who you will instantly recognise that was in PoC. Also Toby Jones who plays dobby from Harry Potter is in finding neverland along with Ian Hart (Prof. Quirrel) he is the cricketer sitting talking with depp just incase you miss him  Wink

I have heard great things about Highmore also. Some talk of supporting actor nomination but he's so young...
And I cannot wait for Willy Wonka. Casting Deep was too perfect and having Tim Burton direct also. And hearing great things about Highmore, it's gonna be a great movie!
But a long wait still sadly.

I went yesterday. Very moving film. The young boy was very good. Does anyone know if its factual, or just another variation of "How Barrie may have devised Peter Pan"?

Go and see it  Grin

I just saw this last night, and I agree that it was fantastic.  Plus it had me reaching for the tissues.  The entire cast was perfect, but you just can't beat JD, especially as a pirate!

I was kinda lucky to see it last night; it doesnt open in Oz till new years day....

overall, a five star film  Grin

Rob, as far as I can tell, it is meant to be factual.  The blurb on my local cinema website says:
Inspired by the life of J.M Barrie, author of the children's classic 'Peter Pan', this magical film follows Barrie's creative journey to bring the ageless boy to life.
Plus in the credits at the start, it said "inspired by true events" or something along those lines...

I'd like to see this too.  Radha Mitchell(of PITCH BLACK fame), one of my favorite actresses, is in this.

Depp is GREAT (as always) and Kate Winslet is just as GREAT (as always).

The movie theatre was packed and everyone seemed impressed..and everyone was teary...unlike myself who was bawling my eyes out...

So Good, would recommend to all!!
