Need info on POA Update Promos

Hi everyone!

This my first post!  

I haven't had a chance to read all the posts on this board and perhaps this has already been answered, but can anyone please tell me what POA Update promos are out there and where they came from?  I've heard there are  holofoil, gold, red, green, and blue promo sets.  I know that the POA (1st series) also had the different color promos, but I've seen some for POA Update and I'd like to get more info on them (how many were made, how one was able to get them, i.e. case incentives, binder incentives, etc.)

Hi, yes it's available in the sticky PoA thread with all the pics in!

PoA original set

P1-P5 Available with 5 different types of foil and one non foil

Green Foil P1-P5 (very rare distributed to entice dealers to preorder cases - rumoured only 10 sets in existance)
Blue Foil P1-P5 (very rare distributed to entice dealers to preorder cases - rumoured only 10 sets in existance)
Red Foil P1-P5 (distributed in the US - a set with every case of 6 binders bought)
Gold Foil P1-P4 (given away one set with every 5 cases purchased
Silver Foil P1-P5 (standard US promo set)
Holofoil (multicoloured) Foil P1-P5 (available in the San Diego Binder set only)
Non Foil P1-P5 (UK exclusive from Cards Inc - not glossy on the back)

Tin Cards T1 & T2, available only by buying the Tins (which contained a few retail packs and one of these promo

cards)

Gum guide promo (no foil - looks like the cards inc promo set)


PoA Update set

Green Foil P1-P4

Do you or anyone on the board have any info on the rarity of the POA Update P1-P4 promos (besides the holofoil)?
Were these also case/binder incentives?  I saw the blue set go for $60+ on eBay and I was wondering if this is a good deal or not.  I'm trying to get an idea of how much it would be to buy these promos.

I don't think this is a good time to buy, the only ones that have been distibuted are giveaways or at San Diego Comic Con I think. They will be distributed (red, green, blue, silver) (I believe) in binder cases!

Gold is going to be a case incentive again I think!

It's all unknown so far!!!

That's really no problem.

But there are a lot yet still to be distributed so I think there is still plenty of time to pick those up
