Hi FTY:

See even when you fool around you come up with great ideas!   Smiley  I have a question I wanted to ask you.
Seeing as you live in Australia do you have any plans on visiting New Zealand to see the various sites where the LOTR's was filmed?

I know how you and I and others on this Forum have been collecting various LOTR's items.  Do you have friends who share the same passion for collecting LOTR's items there?

I would love to visit NZ as it is very close especially as I live in Sydney (not as close as our Melbourne members, but close enough Wink) I had hoped to go this year, but due to university commitments, I wasn't able to. It is highly unlikely I will go next year as I will be writing my honours thesis, but the year after I plan to go travelling - so NZ is definitely on the top of my list! I will buy one of those LOTR guide books and trek around to where my fave scenes were shot Smiley

And no, my friends, who while they like LOTR, think I am certifiably crazy when they see the stuff I have bought! And I haven't even told them how much I paid for it! They would send me to a mental institution then Cool

I see.  Then it is great to be able to talk with others who have a like mind and similiar interests in collecting LOTR's items!   Smiley

I have one of those LOTR's Guide Books and one day I will be using it.  I see trips to New Zealand being offered through The LOTR's Fan Club so it would be cool to hook up with a group of people who share the same love.

Pick one of the names mentioned as it is your thread.  I like all of the ones submitted so far so I do not have a preference.  No new names have been forthcoming so go ahead and pick one.

Okies, here they are, what we have so far:

The Gap of Rohan
The Lonely Mountain
The Black gate
The Green Dragon
Bag End
Welcome to Rivendell
Mount Doom

LOTR fans - The Quest to get a name for this thread stands on the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and you will fall (or basically not have a cool named thread to trade LOTR in Wink) Soooo... what is it to be?
