Could someone please tell me the thickness of the costume cards please?
Are they similar to the existing costumes or slimmer/thicker?

So i broke down went to the store and got 2 boxes  i want my case!! Box 1: Sam costume, Faramir, eomer autos Box 2: Pippin costume, Figwit, Eomer autos Not bad I dont think cards are 100% better in hand then in pictures, none I have seen does the cards justice. A pretty nice choice of most of the cards I saw also.. |

The difficult thing about these cards from the point of view of photographing or scanning it is that each one is rather like a mirror. They are cool to the touch because of the metal content (yes I am not joking) and they are heavy! Now onder it's only 5 a pack! And they are thick!! They don't fit in standard base set boxes!

Thanks for the info on the thickness of these cards Roz and it sounds as though alternative storage cases will have to be found to store them in to the ones we normally use.  Hate to say it, but there's not that much choice this side of the pond and not many US sellers want to ship the decent stuff here because of the weight/cost  Oh well, guess a washed-out margarine tub will have to do for them then!  |

Your probably looking at best price $67 and that is what I picked mine up for on preorder. I would say $75 or less is a pretty good deal at this point. If anyone in the US wants to buy a base set of the LOTR CHrome Trilogy let me know. I have about 5 extra's that I am probably going to put up on ebay unless someone on the forum wants to do an offline deal for a base set.

This LOTR fan also bought no trilogy boxes or cases since I have no money  The cards do look really nice though, I wish I could afford some! That being said, I am looking for a trilogy base set (and promos) and ROTK update base set for reasonable prices. Ideally from the same person to save on shipping. |

Well my case arrived from dreamjoey, I bought 9 boxes and only got 8 so now i am talking with him to figure out whats going to hapen to box #9 |

well at last I have finished sorting my Trilogy cards and I got 67 in 6 cases. The worst thing about it all is that I have about 10 boxes of spares this set doesn't break easily for me. If anyone has any spare no. 20's and 62's drop us a line and maybe we can trade I have loads of cards

Well the excitement is over as I have opened my one box! I pulled Friggin Figwit!! Next to pop up was my old friend Eomer and the Clothing Card turned out to be The Witch-King's! I was able to assemble 1 Base Set out of the box. I do really like the quality of the Chrome cards and my favorite card of the set is - Drum Roll if you please - Card # 57 of who else but Aragorn at the Battle of Helm's Deep!! |
