Thanks for the 'heads-up' on Tomunique's eBay listings Savage ... I got some luvverly cards in the wee hours of the night last night from him ~ just ask Roz!

I've not dealt with him before even though I've checked his listings from time to time, so it will be an interesting experience for me  


oh oh and ... our local Forbidden Planet shop has some of the knives and swords in stock ~ the first time I've seen them on sale where I live!
No Sting or Hadhafang tho ... they can't get hold of them from the suppliers *boo hiss*

Are Forbidden Planet selling the knoves and swords for decent prices? I'd heard they were selling single packs of cards for insane prices before

I was hoping to get a Hadhafang as well, but Leggy was my first priority. I'd like an Aragorn dagger next though

Tom did have both the Aragorn & King Aragorn Auto cards for $25.00.  That is why I purchased them from him.  He also sold the Aragorn Clothing card for $25.00.
If you do not see an Aragorn on his site email him and tell him you are on Mark & Roz's Forum and heard about him there.  Ask him to contact you when he opens more cases for the Aragorn cards.  He will do so.

While we are in this vein - does anyone know anyone selling the base set? I have not seen any on ebay at all, strangely! Is it very difficult to collate a set?

Tom is also selling the Base set FTY.  I do not know how difficult it is to collect a set as my one box is arriving sometime today.  There are 100 cards in the set so I am hoping I can assemble at least one set out of that box.

Well as far as I could see (cos the knives were put up on top of the shelves in the shop and I'm only 5' tall!), the Witchking's sword was £299 and I think Anduril was the same price but I'm not certain on that.
I couldn't see the price clearly on Leggy's fighting knives (*thinks they cost around £200*) and they also had Aragorn's fighting dagger, but again I couldn't see the price.
They had the Helm of Sauron and I didn't dare look to see how much that was
I can always go back and have another look and post the prices for you if you'd like to know what they are for definite?

As for the Aragorn auto ... well I did get one for $25 but it's not the Elessar one and to be honest, I don't care!
I'm just so pleased to get his auto without breaking the bank

I bought a Trilogy base set from cardsgeo for $9.99 tho he's selling them for $20 B-I-N, so I think I did okay with that.
I'm sure I read on here somewhere that you wouldn't be able to actually complete a base set from one box because of the number of cards per pack/packs per box/inserts per box
It might be very nice to get the inserts but I think it's a bit naff that you can't collate the base set out of one box and if I'm wrong on that then please correct me


Tom might be cracking open more cases today so keep your fingers crossed and your purse at the ready

I've sent Tom an email already about the Aragorn auto, but he has sold out of base sets

Cardsgeo flooded the market in the last couple of days, and there were some great bargains, but I did not buy as they do not accept paypal

I thought those prices were a bit much and it's a good job I'm not that interested in buying any of them isn't it!  
The only problem with buying from abroad is the customs duty we get hammered with on items like that so I just wouldn't consider a seller in the US for that reason alone.  

I know what you mean about cardsgeo and PayPal but he uses Auctionworks which accepts credit cards ... it's a bit of a fiddle to use to get it to combine multiple wins but it does work  
I was a bit nervous with my first transaction with him because I didn't know if I'd be able to pay him or not, but thankfully everything was fine

Wow folks this is a flying visit - the wind was too strong on the coast today (hardly surprising as we are building up to gale force winds by Thursday) so I have come back to have a shower (you'd want one too if a £100 kite went off in the wind, the owner (and my guide) said to leave it but he didn't realise I was "super Roz, mudflat traverser" (if you think you are sinking just keep moving) so the kite was saved, we have come back to Cambridge to learn how to fly - I have to have a shower but I had to catch up on all your news !!!

Great news that so many people are getting autos from TomUnique, $25 for Aragorn, Arwen, Elessar etc is a bargain in my eyes!!!

CJD that's very bad luck with the costumes, but you should do well simply because you have the first UK Trilogy cards on ebay!
