Why did they pick this photo of Pippin as he has his eyes closed? They are open He is riding a horse and sorta looking up, but they are open. I thought the same thing when I saw a pic until i got my own. Nice card though, that does look cool  Not to many of those will be found in this set.. most of the material seems to me plain. |

he was definately kidding! in one of his last emails, he offered a star wars card, with a link. he sold the card (Luke Skywalker) for $2300!  |

I think you'll like it Rob. Savage727 sent me this pic yesterday showing off the new Ultra Pro Magnet cases and look how totally AWESOME the Sauron looks! He captured it really well!  In fact I think it's the best Trilogy card picture I have seen so far! |

Well folks I am seeing it happen on ebay already. Prices for most of the Trilogy Auto & Clothing cards are selling for under $25 many for under $18. The beginning of the end is upon us. I like these prices and think they are in line and fair. I predict that next year you will see many dumping their collections as the fad effect wears off and only the true LOTR's fans will be holding onto theirs. Maybe then I will be able to find a Merry, Legolas, Gimli, and Elrond Auto cards at reasonable prices. |

Well today I tempted fate and opened my FIRST EVER box of trading cards!!! (my collection is a result of ebay shopping up until now!!) The box was a LOTR Trilogy and I pulled: Arwen Auto Denethor Auto Witchking Auto Not too keen on the costume card but I am rapt with the Arwen Auto  luckily I was outbid last night on an Arwen auto cause now I have one of my very own!!!! I was really really hoping for a Liv or Viggo (or both) and im glad that I got one of them! It was really exciting opening the box, it was fun! |

Congrats Trey!! Nice pulls!! I agree that it is fun to open packs and boxes. The Trilogy was cool in that you got 3 premium cards - two Autos and a Clothing card to search for. |

 The top brown section is a rough kind of velvet, lower grayish section is smooth with a puffed out applique type stitching. Weirdest one I've seen! My buddy pulled this one and gave it to me for my wife's Eowyn shrine. QB |

That's very cool QB! I've just come back from Birmingham and I have to say a REALLY hot seller were sealed Trilogy boxes and Trilogy base sets! Wow! I also heard that Topps have retained their license and renewed it for another 3 years so I wonder what they have in store for us all - I hope they use the remaining milage carefully - there's tonnes of great stuff that could still be done, we shall have to wait and see |

The friend of my sister has today birthday. She gave him a box LOTR Trilogy He got only a Pippin Tunic no auto card  I thought topps guarantee 1 Auto and a Costume per box |
