they have suddently sprung up on ebay - the individual auctions start cheap and have very good pics of the items. I'd be really interested if someone had background on this set.. and maybe info on where I could find an Aragorn one since it's advertised here!!!



Do we have many Japanese collectors in our ranks, they are "oversized" cards apparently - bigger than standard but still very cool looking

While I was in Japan, I went to see ROTK. The Japanese love buying things. I really think it's part of their culture. Anyways, I had to buy a program for the movie. Who wouldn't? Well, inside holds some of your answers.

The second to last page includes some of the merchandise the sold for ROTK at the movie theaters. These film cards were amongst the many things there. The information provided included that there was a separation in the distribution of Aragorn and Legolas sets. The cards were, as sold in the auctions, one in every conceled pack and retailed for 400 Yen.

There's some more stuff written in Japanese like the size possibily being 10.5 cm, but I can't be too sure until I actually sit down and translate it all for you (by the end of the week, hopefully)
