Over 2 months ago I won a set of UC Legolas fighting knives from a ebay seller (dragon_products). They were selling a few sets and had good FB from a few already sold. So I thought it was safe... Won the auction and paid 2 days later. I was told I should get them in 10 days, max. One month on, still nothing. So I shoot them an email and they said they would file an insurance claim and send me a new set. Its been over a month since that last email (over 2 months now since I should have received the knives) and I sent 3 emails last week about it. I received a bounced email sent from my hotmail acoc**t saying the adressee had blocked my email., so I send 2 via ebay. No response. Sent another this week (less polite than the other 3) Still nothing... So question - is this seller a rip off artist? Should i email and threaten to leave neg and complain to ebay about him? I paid via paypal credit card, but I dunno if I can get anything back 2 months later. What should I do?  Thanks for any help  |

I remember when you bought these,I thought that you would have had them by now.
Try ebay's contact members,see if they have a phone number or get in touch with paypay (click security centre at the bottom of the page-go to buyers section and select service you want or phone paypal) its worked for me in the past....good luck

I had a problem and I paid by CC got it back 3 months later, The CC company just asked for all the emails and I had to send them the bounced email also.
But i agree try to find a phone # on ebay or paypal and I hope it all works out

Hello FTY:
I have had dealings with several Sellers who either did not mail my purchased items or said they were lost in the mail. I pay by credit card for all my purchases. In all these cases I by passed ebay and went directly to my credit card company and received full restitution. I did receive several emails from ebay asking that I deal with them in the future before going to my credit card company but I have had friends who received no satisifaction from ebay in similar circumstances so I decided not to trust that ebay would get the job done.
Several of these transactions were 3 to 5 months in duration before I got my money back. Keep the faith.

Thanks for the help! I had a look at his items for sale - he's got a set up there so I sent him an email via ebay link: Hello, I have contacted you on several occasions in the last 2 weeks regarding a set of Legolas knives I purchased form you that were lost in the mail. You informed me that you filled out an insurance claim over a month ago, however I am yet to receive a refund, a replacement or even information about it. I see that you obviously have the knives in stock as you are selling a set now. I do not want to make a complaint to ebay about this, but if I do not receive information about this in the next few days, I will file a fraud complaint and leave appropriate feedback. I have never done this before and hope I will not have to. Please email me about what is going on as soon as possible. Thank you Regards, Jo Is this a bit rude? Well no response from the seller so I filed through Square trade and emailed ebay and left negative FB. Unfortuantely can't do anything through paypal as it has been over the 30 day limit for transactions. We shall see how it goes |

Woo - received email from Square trade, the seller is going to send new set of knives in a few days with tracking number this time. So we shall see what we will see. Apparantly his email was down... for over 2 weeks??? HOw is he going to complete all the transacitons for hte stuff he has on ebay ATM?  Ah well. HOpefully it will all be resolved soon |

Hello FTY: That is wonderful news!! I am so glad everything worked out so well for you. Yea the Aragorn knife is on my list of things to get as well. I sent Roz a number of pictures of my Sideshow/Weta statues of Boromir, Gandalf, Aragorn, and the new King Aragorn along with Aragorn's Ranger sword hanging on my wall. I hope she gets the time to post them here for you all to see. |

I look forward to seeing your impressive collection! But I don;t think I will get the Weta stautes as I am constantly moving around and it is very hard to move these statues around making sure they are safe and protected. And I'm glad to see you posting again - hope you are 100% better!  |

Well Roz and Mark went away at one point and Ben was as well, so Roz suggested to Mark that as I basically live on this forum I could be left in charge to caretake as yak in charge for a few days - I think they thought I was responsible *cough*  They haven't noticed that I still have the horns *cough moustaches* so shhhhh.. |
