LOTR movie mistakes and goofs

Well i have heard from the actors themselves and forums about the a scene in TTT were tied up pippin is about to get trampled on by a rohirrim horse, and whilst he screams his arms are open (not tied up) and then 2 secs after his hands are tied again.   I never noticed this in the film but it must be true.

Also some one told me about a car in the background in the FOTR where sam is one step away from the longest distance he has ever been from the shire. Some soft of smoke which is moving is what i heard.

And some cock & bull about a sticker being left on the apple thrown at pippin. I have looked at this scene numerous time but never saw any granny smith sticker  

Last one, When boromir is dying with aragorn next to him the scenes from aragorns view to boromirs view were shot at different times in the day. Aragorns first and then they went to lunch, and then Boromirs later on, and they got it wrong. It hard to explain, but its something to do with Boromir grabbing Aragorns shoulder and a split second before and after the arm is not on his shoulder. Very wierd stuff.

Aparently Peter Jackson loves it when fans see these mistakes as he likes that they pay attention and watch the film closely. Wel thats what Dominic said at the Collectormania 4 Talk & Screening.

Has any body else know of any they can share?

Well there's this once scene in the Two Towers just after the bit where Aragorn throws Gimli over the gap where if you look closely, you can see Gimli mouth the word "Tosser" to Aragorn. It's true! Honest!*

ya i heard about the car in fotr but peter Jackson said he edited it out for the dvd release .the only one i have noticed is in fotr with the green mucious coming from Frodo's face and then disapearing all while on Arwens horse.he also looks like some weird puppet if you slow it down and look at it

Hi all, found my way here from the Topps board

In ROTK, when the Gondorian soldiers bring Faramir back to the courtyard & Pippin is running around the stretcher, they cut to several long shots.

It's very obvious that they're using the child stand-in!!

Also @ Mias Tirith, while Gandalf & Pippin stand on the balcony looking towards Mias Morgul. I'm certain BB is kneeling. His whole body posture looks wrong.

I saw the Pippins untied-tied hands goof, amazing I have never noticed it before... I have watched the movie so many times   But try as I might, I can't seem to see the 'tosser' that Gimli mouths.

We've all seen PJ as the soldier that throws a rock down, haven't we?

One blooper I have seen is in the TTT when everyone is getting ready for the battle of helms deep (the dialog between legolas and aragorn in which they are speaking elvish and aragorn yells in english about "then I'll die as one of them")

Legolas' eyes are dark brown throughout the scene, even on the dvd, while his eyes are supposed to be blue...

Yeah, I noticed that... I heard that one reason they gave at the studio was that elves' eyes change colour depending on their mood. I guess that was a lame reason, but necessary for such a glaring error (I noticed it in the cinema!).

Another one I noticed was the scene where Gandalf and co. are watching Shadowfax gallop up, Gandalf appears to be wearing suspiciously modern looking trainers. Or is that just my eyes?

I noticed the shoes in ROTK when Gandalf crowns Aragorn, There a shot and you see Gandalf from the side...  And yes!  The shoes are very modern... "River Island specials"  I believe was what I termed them when trying to expalin it to my friend...
