Whilst I was at C6 I picked myself up one of these new Miranda Otto lithos; the set is of a new design (and so doesn't strictly fit in with the set of previously released signature edition lithos, we'd best call this SE2

) the others in the collection are signed by John Rhys Davies as Gimli and Lawrence Makore as The WitchKing.
I had seen pictures of them online and somehow got the idea that they were grey/chrome card like, but I am relieved to say that is not at all the case.
This is the first litho I have bought that has been packed rolled up, which is a much easier way to pack them for postage purposes although you do feel like you are destroying it whilst you open it

each litho comes wrapped in a certificate of authenticity.
When you have finally unwrapped it all and you get to the litho it's a good idea to leave it overnight between all your other lithos so you can look at it properly in the morning once it's flattened out
The litho is printed with a cream parchment effect sort of background, just the sort of colour you would expect the maps of Middle Earth to be, and the picture is surrounded by a border of golden runes, and unevenly edged which is a nice effect and works well on this.
Rather like the universally loved FOTR autos the top of Miranda's head is placed over a map of middle earth (although it's more subtle than the FOTR auto map since it tones in with the litho's colour); cleverly it centres on Rohan

You can see it here: (with this pic I have also tried to show you the golden rune border... )

On her right forearm you can see the frills of her blouse/dress are faded carefully out and below you see Helms deep!
I have not had the opportunity to look at the other lithos so closely so I am sure they have lots of secrets hidden within so Jas/Goofyjas (or anyone else who has bought them), can you post your thoughts on the other 2 lithos (Gimli and the Witchking) when you receive them?
Just one thing... these came out less than a week ago... why have I just bought number 954

? I wonder if they have been just *that* popular. Since Miranda was unable to make it to C6 I'd imagine these will have sold well at the event as they did not cost a lot more than meeting her and the litho is beautiful and totally unlike those released before.
