You guys may have already heard it as I have been away on field work (yeuk... but that's another story!!!). But I have had the announcement of the Potter Update Prop cards... Wanted Poster Marauder's Map Grimm fur Buckbeak's feather Divination Class Material Divination Book Divination Class Material II Fizzing Wissbeas 10 case incentive Book of Monsters 25 case incentive Whomping Willow HOW ANNOYING IS THE 10 CASE INCENTIVE....  Right... got to go - have to hose down some very dirty cables that I spent the last 3 days digging up and de-algaeing 2 miles worth of cable with sensors on the end from a Saltmarsh on the East Coast. Soon I'll get home, have a shower and sit and enjoy catching up on all your posts (that sounds like heaven right now), I hope you've all been having a good time on here whilst I have been away  |

Glad to have you back! I hope the weather was decent while you were digging in the marsh.
That's a nice selection of prop cards. I'm really surprised that Buckbeak's feather isn't one of the case incentives, but at least that means we all have a chance of getting one in a box.
I was just reading on a Yahoo!Group for HP movies that there is an article about POA in the new issue of Cinefex (it's a movie industry special effects journal). It said that the full-size Buckbeak was made with 30,000 feathers. I wonder how many Artbox received?
Was the pear tree leaf a 10-case or 25-case incentive? A Whomping Willow leaf (assuming it's a leaf) is going to be VERY expensive.

LOL I always thought the reason that they didn't do the whomping willow last time was because it was CG... but obviously not! Thanks for the good wishes KB we were DEAD lucky with the weather... it was overcast but that didn't make it too hot to work in full waterproof overalls AND it hardly rained at all  until we were coming back in the van this morning that is !!! |

Wow, who knew that you could dig up so much useful info on the marshes? So everytime we need HP info, send Roz on a field trip Fantastic news about the prop cards, though I do think 3x Divination material is a bit OTT  but the rest looks fantastic. Though what is it abt trees that makes them so special . I want the lot!  FTY |

ROFL FTY, the one that has caught my attention is the 10 case incentive... which is why I have a team of crack cat burglers casing MPC's and Gimli's houses ROFL... hopefully I'll be able to sell some spares and buy it |

Wow. Now that is only 8. Is it possible there still may be more added? I am upset about both the WW and Monster Book. I would like to get each of them, but could no way afford the high prices on eBay for them. I am pleased to see Buckbeaks feather though!!
As for the Map and Wanted poster, weren't they CG? Arre they going to be blank pieces of paper?
I am also curious to see the list of costumes....

The map presumably had a physical form because it was often used without having things drawn on it. I guess we will get bits of that... it's still very exciting |

Roz - Do you happen to know (and I am guess the answer is Yes), if these cards will be numbered as the first set was (like Hermione's sweater was out of 450)?
But everytime we get moe info, I seem to want to purchase another box. This is bad.

lol I shouldn't worry about it. If I could find any more boxes to buy I probably would...I have itchy fingers But no I have a car radiator to buy so I had better not! I haven't heard about the numbering but I assume so... It would be a shame not to IMO |

And according to the latest Collectors Zone newsletter - Signees will include Dudley Dursley, Argus Filch, Vincent Crabbe, Percy Weasley, Dawn French (Fat lady). Did we already know that? Will have to get my own version of the Marauder’s Map as I keep getting lost on the forum and forget what I have read where. Must be old age, it comes to us all in the end.
