... well I liked it I can see a few pointers in the storyline which are obvoious links to what might happen! 1) Well - Will Turner's Dad - couldn't be dead could he as he was also affected by the curse!!! 2) The monkey pics up a gold piece after the credits and presumably makes himself an immortal monkey! One to watch!!! 3) Do you think that the Brits will go after Jack Sparrow and the Pearl as it ended at the close of the first movie?? I am not sure it will be as predictable as that! A card set for this one would be great - there are some great costumes etc And some of the autographers if they could be persuaded to sign would drive people mad! It's a good time to set up a card set though as everyone is about to regroup to film movies 2 and 3 this coming autumn! It would be especially great if a certain UK card company could pick up the license, I liked their thunderbird set - and (no I am not on commission popple) but I think they have some imagination and some great designers (don't worry - Darren doesn't seem to come on here so we are safe from his head swelling!), and I wouldn't be import taxed on my purchases . The only snag is that Disney are a pain in the whatsit to work with. When Mark was working at the cinema in Mile End many years ago - even their poor quality releases HAD to be in the best screen in the house (Genesis had only one good screen with 500 seats and then the rest were only slightly bigger than your widescreen at home - probably slightly smaller than savage 727s!). AND they took 90% YES 90% of the takings... so that the cinema can only make money on your popcorn, drinks etc.. (that explains why they charge so much huh??) So all in all Disney are not friendly to work with - so I won't hold my breath - but it would be magnificent if they did a set!

Yeah, I would love to see a auto/costume/prop card set for the 3 movies Forget OB, I would kill for a Johnny Depp or Geoffrey Rush!

Depp was supposed to sign for Sleepy Hollow when Inkworks did that set, but never did sign. I was lead to believe his auto was in the set and picked up six boxes for about $12 each a couple months ago ( I was told auto's fell about one in 3 boxes) and got nothing.
It sucked - maybe there was a retail and a hobby version, but it was very disappointing money spent 6 boxes and no auto's. Oh well you live you learn!
Point being I don't know if Depp would even be for signing cards for a set?

Word is that Jack is based on Keef!! Certainly clothing wise Depp and Keefy are mates, JD had talked to KR about doing Sparrow ala Keef. Watch this space Rob

Thanks FTY! I was hoping it would be released sometime next year though! We could all use a bit more of Capt. Jack Sparrow!!

I'm thrilled that Keith Richards has agreed to be in the movie. Gonna be fabulous. And yes, more Johnny Depp is always a good thing. I read in the paper this weekend that Geoffery Rush is apparently in at least one of the sequels I don't remember exactly but it was an article on another Australian movie and it mentioned that Rush had committed to the Pirates sequel. Still trying to figure out what this means plot wise...
