Oh hell, I am at a wedding all weekend, any suggestions how I can get out of it. The queues will probably the same as at C4 so I can hardly call in for an hour on my way down the M1 to Stevenage.

What does being allocated to a guest involve Ben? Do you make sure they are comfortable and have everything they need? While dressed in your black tuxedo and ready with your jujitsu moves incase any fans decided to get too possessive?

LOL well basically we are there slaves, but not as much as the 'runner' they have to get them whatever they want. If they want a cheesecake with 6 cheerys on tops with whipped cream on the side they have to search the whole of MK's  shopping centre to find that.

The crew that sit with the guests have to take the fans tickets (Saying how many autos they have purchased) and supposed make sure the fans dont try scamp a free auto out of them but to be honest most of the guests don't care, so we dont really have to say anything. You have to sit with them for the whole 9 hours or something and pretty much make them feel comfortable and keep the conversation running whcih isn't hard with most guests. You don't get a break where you can walk around you can't leave your post you have to eat your lunch at your seat even when the guest has gone for there lunch because when they say they'll be back in an hour some have taken 2 hours and some come back early so you need to be ready.

C4 was most Hektic for crew but i think C6 is gunna be just as close

You've obviously never been to Collectormania If you think we're bad, you can't have seen the packs of prowling fangirls. They're truly terrifying   As someone said @ C4 "Now I understand why the Beatles stopped touring".

I'm going on Friday, 'cos the urge to decapitate little girls dressed as Gondorian warriors (complete with biroed moustaches) gets overwhelming on Saturday/Sunday  :'( :'(

Hi Samwise, thanks for your offer. I will be travelling from Lichfield (home) to Stevenage on Saturday morning and was thinking of stopping off at MK on the way if I can persuade my other half. He came with me once before and swore he would never go again. He is with Rob all the way as far as the dressing up goes. He almost made one girl cry when he asked if she was going to a fancy dress party and what was she trying be anyway, some sort of fairy. As he is not interested in the actors he acts as my photographer, bag holder etc. I'll have to work on him and let you know. Thanks again.
