The symphony looks cool - and I have to say I can't wait for that 9 disc CD set... at first I was not sure but what the heck... 9 CDs of LOTR magic... who can complain at that?

The release date remains uncertain  Huh Huh Couple of days back, it was supposedly 14 December, but that got cancelled within hours  Embarrassed Embarrassed

The definite date is supposed to be announced in the next week or two  Shocked Shocked

According to John Noble who has seen the EE, it is fantastic, and "30% better than the one that won 11 academy awards".  Sounds like something to look forward to.  Roll Eyes

C'mon FTY everyone knows that the theatrical releases are just extended trailers for the extended edition - I really regard the EE versions as "the ones to watch".

Although I must confess that the Argonath book ends (cool though they are) are not being used! My books are too heavy for them (isn't that always the way with book ends! Here when things go bump in the night my book ends have smashed!

And Gollum was never taken out of the box, though I enjoyed the DVD Smiley

I am looking forward to the Howard Shore DVD too Cheesy
