I have a master set of all 15 issues.
Thought I would se if there were any real fans left.
Only cost me $2.00 per listing for the cases.

The cost of shipping to Ireland, etc., due to all of the hoops the UK, "UK-ish", and Euro governments "sock-it-to-the-people" tax, customs and other onerous fees imposed make the shipping almost impossible. Some sellers ask that the customs declaration be fudged on, which is totally illegal. Then they have a fit about it when told it's not doable. The buyers seem to always blame the sellers for these issues. Then there are the famous postal strikes causing delays. I also understand that in some case they make you pickup the items in person with tons of money to pay fees. I suppose one becomes accustomed to the abuse after years of suffering it. On another theme, I have almost given up on buying from the UK because eBay makes the sellers jump through hoops for signature confirmation, insurance, etc., it makes the cost to high. Sort of like buying a shirt for $3.00 and then having to pay $5.00 to get it dry cleaned or washed. And then some sellers charge quite bizarre shipping rates which seem to wander all over the cost spectrum for similar cards. |

Just a suggestion -- you might want to add the words "sealed case" to the auction titles. If someone is looking to buy a case, he or she would probably add the word "case" to the search terms.

Good idea, no doubt the prices are shocking. But these cases don't grow on trees. I mean, how many unsearched POA Original and SS cases are still around. I know these are unsearch because I got them from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named himself. ( I mean TOM, of course.)  |

well from what i see you selling the cases for your losing a 1000 dollars on what youd get selling them seperatly so id think split them up if thats any help |

It isn't a bad deal if you don't have to pay eBay and PayPal fees. Figure that the POAU boxes are worth about $60 each and the POA and SS boxes are worth around $120 each. If you sell all of the individual boxes on eBay, you're going to lose a lot of money in fees, have to buy shipping boxes and other packing supplies, and deal with as many as 30 separate buyers on a site where buyers are clearly favored over sellers.
Sure, a dealer isn't going to spend the money on cases unless he or she thinks there will be a decent profit either reselling the cases/boxes or selling the individual cards. There's no fault in that, especially since the offer isn't ridiculously low. You could try to negotiate a slightly higher price. However, if you think there's more than $3000 to be made by selling boxes or even by opening everything and selling the cards, then you might want to consider keeping them.

there has not been a poa box on ebay in ages and if you put one up people will go crazy of it well over 120 and then keep puttin up the next 3 will sell for arounf the same and mybe the last 3 would go for that 120 but definitly more than 120 dollars, the poau is about right and the cos is about 100 dollars each a little more if a bidding situation |

Update on the POA and the SS cases.
They were sold.
If you have any to sell they went for $2000.00 for POA and $1000.00 for SS.
I really have mixed feeling about it though. I had the unbearable urge to rip open boxes in a
mad search for another great variant.

There was actually time, at card shows, that the POA boxes were being asked at $250! I think this box auction will do REALLY well by the looks of it already. Good luck! I am one of the watchers by the way.
