Here's my case, and before I start cackling with glee, I'll mention my few concerns. Each box had a complete set of base cards, but I only found 13 copies of a couple of cards across the case, and the rest ranged from 16-26. So I didn't see a repeat of most HP movie and update sets of near-perfect collation (with as close to two complete sets as possible). Boxes are 24 packs of 8 cards. 10 boxes per case, 5000 numbered boxes. Expect 2.01 base sets of 90 cards per box if collation were perfect.
The case-topper is a widevision lenticular card. One wide-card type in a set may complicate the use of 9-pocket pages for the full set, but I think we can manage.
Now for the good stuff. Based on pre-release information, this is my best HP case ever, and maybe the best I've seen from anybody. Two Ultra-Rare autos (Molly and Twins) and two Rares. After my Emma in the last case, I think I've made up for my previous results that were below average. I didn't find any extreme costume or prop variants, but I definitely can't complain.

I'm not sure you can extrapolate anything from my case, it's almost certain to be an oddball (or a mistake from Artbox' view). Though for HBP, all of the Ultras were in the CFC1-5-8 family, which also had cases with no Ultra and only one Rare. (I say 'family' because one of the Ron cases was CFC1-6-8 and one of the Duals was CFC1-4-8-8.
My box with the Twins dual auto looked a bit different from the other boxes; the shrinkwrap was ever so slightly looser.
The case that was posted to eBay early, on Saturday, was a CFC3-6-9 case, and it had the same autos and all but one of the same costumes as your Case #1. Three Rares isn't bad, but there are four Ultras to go around this set.
Incidentally, the "overages" from adding up the numbers of costumes/props/cels and calculating how many should be in boxes is quite large. 6120 costumes is only 22% above 5000 boxes, but the prop numbers are 64% above the number that will be in 5000 boxes, and the CFCs are 48% above. I kthink they were planning for a 5500-box print run but scaled back. (Each CFC for HBP was # to 314 in 7000 boxes; for HBPU they're # to 247. 247/314 * 7000 = 5506.) The Gallacher 3-case-incentive might have been planned as a fourth Rare auto before they scaled back. I won't start an "Autograph Numbers" thread until the Commons start outnumbering the Rares!

Perhaps the overages are due to Artbox wanting cards for SDCC grab bags and show specials. Since Deathly Hallows 1 won't be released until November 2010, they may or may not have another set lined up prior to SDCC which could provide them with extra cards for the show.

Good thinking, but wouldn't it be hard to use the cards in another set if they were already named, serial numbered, and marked for this set? The extra numbers are above what we saw with earlier sets, especially props. Props add up to 2460 and there will be only 1500 in boxes. With about a thousand extras, I definitely bet you're right about "show special" packages at SDCC or elsewhere. But you kind of wonder whether the serial numbers mean what we think they do, and whether pack pulls will be in proportion to the "odds" or if the extras will be a higher fraction of some of the props. For the most recent Movie sets, the extras have been GOF (33%), GOFU (38%), OOP (35%), OOPU (40%), HBP (34%), HBPU (64%). Some props are more prone to damage or replacement, but the jump made me wonder, anyway ...

I was thinking more along the lines of cards for the grab bags.

I was thinking it was an awful lot more than we had in the last few years, and there were plenty of goodie bags then. But you noted that this might be the only set between the two Cons (I can't see another MM or 3D until after the last film), so HBPU might have to bear a bigger load. Have there been CFC cards in SDCC goodie bags? I still think that presales were disappointing, because we haven't seen a movie set with as few as 5000 boxes since the first one.
Another idea hit me, that they might want to have stuff to promote the opening of the Orlando park and/or to sell in the gift shop. Though they had special cards made just for the traveling Expos. (And sorry if this is getting off-topic while we wait for the non-U.S. contingent to weigh in with their breaks!)

There were goody bags with filmcards. I'm surprised that more people here haven't posted their breaks, but maybe they're like me and haven't received their orders yet. That's an interesting thought about the HP area at Universal Orlando. I do think you're right that Artbox expected a bigger print run. It's too bad that they didn't pack these boxes with extra inserts instead of holding back a ton of them.

Wow, Karen, our first cluster, and it was the one with 2 Ultras and 2 Rares! Your case #1 was the same as my case except you got a second C14 instead of a C4. It's looking a little bit like the Ron/Lavender dual auto might be a Super Rare (maybe 50-75 copies) versus the other Ultras at 100-150 copies, but the earliest auctions might be misleading.

Okay, I don't have the box numbers or the exact card numbers in front of me at the moment, but here is what the boxes had.
Box 1: C2 Ron Orange Long Sleeve Shirt x/360 Romilda Vane/Anna Schaffer auto
Box 2: C9 Harry Blue Plaid Shirt x/330 Katie Bell/Georgina Leonidas auto
Box 3: C13 Luna Grey Sweater x/450 Blaise Zabini/Louis Cordice auto
Box 4: C10 Hermione Purple Shirt x/360 Cormac McLaggen/Freddie Stroma auto
Haven't checked my base sets yet, but I did get all 4 box toppers and made two complete foil sets.
