Anyone know if there will ever be a Alan Rickman or Emma Thompson autograph in any future Artbox sets?  Is there a reason they haven't signed to date yet?

I really doubt if Mr. Rickman or Ms. Thompson will ever sign auto cards for HP (especially if they've not done so already w/ so many sets behind us).  I really wish they would, especially Alan Rickman (in addition to a number of other cast members who've not signed).  could be a variety of reasons - not enough money or they just don't want to sign cards.

Yeah, I haven't heard Emma Thompson's stance but I've heard that Robbie Coltrane & Alan Rickman are supposed to be averse to autograph selling, so I suppose cards wouldn't be their cup of tea Sad

yup, I read the same thing (believe here on the Shack).  Well hopefully they'll get a few more of the primary cast members to sign for the remaining sets.

That is unfortunate.  Oh well.  I suppose I wouldn't want to sign 100+ cards either

I would really love to see Mark Williams (Arthur) and Julie Walters(Molly) sign. I beleive they are the only Weasleys who have not yet signed.

Also a new Maggie Smith auto would be great, considering her only Auto was in the MM1 set, and they were very limited.

With a little more than 2 months until the HBP release, has anyone heard any news/rumors about it's card set?

Oh completely, a Julie Walters auto would be OUTSTANDING. She's great!

Ooh, you got exactly what you wanted ....

I'm sure that Artbox has tried to sign Rickman, Coltrane, Williams, and Walters.  While I would love to be proven wrong, my guess is that if an actor who has portrayed a recurring character hasn't signed for any of the 13 sets so far, he or she probably won't sign in the future.  Maybe these people want too much money, are against signing autos for payment, or just don't want to deal with it. Undecided
