Hi everyone!  I'm a new HP card collector and brand new to the forums here.  I have a question about the 3 coin cards from this SS set.
Are they impossible to find at this point and how often do they turn up on Ebay etc?

Thanks

There are three coin cards (knut, sickle, and galleon) and only 40 of each card.  They are very rare.  I'd say they are pretty much impossible to find -- I can't remember the last time I saw one on eBay.  You can look at the cards and auctions in the price guide.

Your best bet is to set up a saved search on eBay in case one is listed.  Expect to pay a lot of money for it, though.

Thanks.  I kind of expected that.  I have been keeping my eyes open and will just have to be patient.

Great site btw!

Welcome to the forum! Hope you stick around.

Yup, cards with a limited print run like that are very hard to find. It seems most people who want them in their collections already have them, but occasionally, one will pop up on eBay, Good luck!!!

But remember also, when you do your eBay searches, that there were "common" coin card pairs as box-toppers for Memorable Moments 1 (CC1-CC2, silver) and dealer-incentive gold-tint versions. The Poster Series had coin cards too. Several times I have had my interest perk up too early when I wasn't specific enough in my eBay search for the "real" SS coin props.  Roll Eyes
