Yes, that's all very intriguing.
Perhaps even more so now that the listing has been pulled from eBay (not just ended early but PULLED!). It was on about $60 when I looked. I pondered over it thinking that it would be a cool thing to have, but it's the sort of thing that is hardly unique. This could have been the first of an outpouring of hundreds of unsigned ones so I didn't want to risk spending hard earned cash on something that I might pick up for nothing later on... if that makes sense.
For those who missed it -

I do like the quad cards though, I think it was a nice idea (it's a shame that champions signatures are a bit scrawley though! And a LOT of Quad cards you see around have smudged signatures too!)
To be awkward though personally, I'd just call it blank or unsigned rather than 'variant' myself ...

One to watch Cindy. Anyone else dealt with the seller? They seem to ring a bell, are they a chain of 'bring your stuff to me and I'll sell it' professional eBay sellers?
