Slightly Creepy Boy is the guy on the far left.

Professor Grubbly-Plank -- this isn't a good picture, but I haven't been able to find one that's better.

I wonder if the card will actually read Ryan Nelson (Slightly Creepy Boy)?

Perhaps DA Member?

Artbox is reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy reaching with these auto Hopping Mad

I remember thinking the Grawp- Tony Maudsley auto was lame, why dosen't Artbox at least care enough about it's buyers to provide autos for actors with speaking parts?

I'm not sure what it will say on the card.  Artbox provided only the name of the actor.  I found the name of the character at www.imdb.com.

I didn't mind the Grawp auto.  The character has a decent part in OOTP, much like Firenze in SS and Aragog in COS.  Kreacher has a smaller part than any of those, but I still think it's a good auto to have.  The problem with a long-running series like HP is that the main cast of characters doesn't change much over the course of the series.  So, Artbox is stuck with either many repeat autos or finding bit part actors to sign the cards.  Either way, collectors will complain.  Undecided  Of course, if Artbox produced fewer filler sets, there would be less of a problem.

It's unfortunate that they haven't been able to sign Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Alan Rickman (Snape), Julie Walters (Molly Weasley), Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), and Toby Jones (Dobby).  Coltrane won't sign for the James Bond sets, either, so that one will probably never come to pass.

Oooooo I would love to have had Molly/Arthur Julie Walters-Mark Williams double auto for this set Grin

I hope they will consider to sign for a future set.

Any indication that Allan Rickman might sign for HBP ?

I have a feeling that since Rickman has never signed for a set, it probably won't happen.  Then again, it took until OOTPU for a Draco/Tom Felton auto.  It's hard to know the reason.  Maybe they don't like signing autographs or maybe they want more money than a card company can pay.

Think I read somewhere (probably here on the shack) that Robbie Coltrane won't sign b/c he doesn't believe in having people pay for his autograph (or something like that).  In any case, it's a long shot that Coltrane will do it.  I still have hope for Rickman.  A Julie Walters (Molly Weasley) and Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley) dual auto would be awesome.

There may still be hope for a Toby Jones (Dobby) auto, which would also be very cool.

In any case, I have my eye on the MM2 Harry & Sirius dual auto and Draco/Lucius Malfoy double too  Wink

I normally don't care much for the costumes, but I would really like a Harry/Oliver Wood costume. Oliver Wood's is one I never got around to getting from the SS set, and yet I always wanted it. Now I have another chance to get one.  I also gave in and ordered two boxes. I have been itching to open boxes and there is nothing else out at this very moment that I want, so I figured...what the heck.

I wonder if Artbox has considered adding sketch cards the HP series.

Although I haven't collected any other series of cards, the sketch cards from other sets (LOTR etc), look like they would be a great way to enhance the HP collector series.

It was considered a year or two ago.  Artists were solicited for sample sketches.  It's believed, but not confirmed, that there were problems getting approvals from Warner Bros., so the set was scrapped.

How about sketch cards from some the actors?

I saw a couple of auto cards from Jamie Waylett(Crabbe) from the POA update set, where he signed and then drew a little face at the end of his signature.

Tom says the cases should ship April 13.

Question for any of you on the Yak.

I ordered a case of HP MM2 from Tom back in March, and just sent him an email asking when he thought these might be shipping.

I had not seen the charge for them on my credit card yet, which I usually do just before they ship.

His reply was that he needed my credit info, which I believed that he already had as I have ordered cases from him before.

I don't remember having to re-send him this information before, and am just wondering if anyone else who does business with Tom has had to resend credit information for each order they place.

I have never had a problem with Tom before, and I trust his business.
Is it possible that the email could have been compromised from an ouside sorce?, I just wonder if it is safe to send that information in an email.

Thanks in advance.

I've had to resend my shipping address each time I've ordered from him.  I believe he's always had me pay using PayPal (so he never has had my credit card number...)  I haven't gotten an email from him asking for payment on MM2 yet.

I paid Tom by PayPal today. I've never used another method to pay him.

I pay with PayPal as well, and he told me money would be due around the 10th...he would let me know. He has so many buyers that it is very possible he just forgot your information or can't find it right now.

Thanks, I think Paypal would be the safest way to go.

I was just worried about sending an email with credit information.

Just to let all overseas Yaks know, Tom doesn't accept foreign credit cards over the phone. Paypal or International Money Order is the only way to pay him.

If anyone is thinking about ordering a case, one major distributor has just sent out a last call for orders.
