Artbox is expected to release a new set called Harry Potter Memorable Moments II in January.  There are no other details available yet.

I loved the prop inserts for the first MM. 

Thought the costumes could have been a little something more, as well as the autos--too many DE autos.

I just hope the boxes will have a better insert ratio this time--especially considering the price of the last batch. If a higher price is demanded for a "special" set, then the inserts should warrant that price. Some people only had one insert per box or really common inserts and while that is always a risk, for a designated "special" set priced significantly higher than the regular sets...I just think that's unfair.

I wouldn't mind betting that we won't see this set until March/April, and once again, too close to the July release of HBP

Considering there's still no word about the set or release date and no info has appeared in trade publications that go to comic book and trading card stores, I think Boggie's right about a spring release.

The website has been updated to say we definitely won't find out anything about Artbox until sometime next year  How sad that this is the quickest update on the site for years to tell us they can't tell us anything

We have some info about the set, hot off the presses!

This will be a 72-card set with images from the first five movies.  It will include props, costumes, autos, and a nine-card chase set.  So far, Artbox has announced autos for Robbie Jarvis as Young James Potter, Richard Leaf as Auror Dawlish, and Tolga Safer as Igor Karkaroff's aide.

The release is scheduled for April 2009.

I do like the parchmenty feel, but I'm not sure how good it looked on the base cards etc. and I still have reservations about an MM set before the movies have all been made *sign*

I wish they'd let us know what the costume, autograph, and prop cards are going to be.  They repeated a lot of cards for OOPU set and the World of Harry Potter 2 set.  I don't see repeating cards over and over again.

I have a hard time believing that Artbox doesn't know most of the autos, costumes, and props that will be in a set scheduled for release in a month.

The house of BOGLEG has yet to have it's boat floated with this release  Full details will probably be on a card that needs to be redeemed 
One would assume (as One does) that the HBP set is already packed and ready to ship. Where's the info for this?

Let's face it.  Artbox is in the business of selling cases, boxes, and packets of HP cards.  They don't want to let the buying public know exactly what the cards are and what they look like for fear we won't buy their productl.  It's a simple as that.  They say a fool is born every minute.

I'm a dealer.  One of those people who buy from Artbox and who Artbox relies upon to buy enough to sell a product out.

With no more information than this, I won't have any customers taking the chance and ordering any MM2.  I know I'd rather not have any than too much with no outlet for sales because the product is weak.

This is the wrong time to expect people to blindly buy product.

But maybe also the wrong time too to expect people to buy a product when they know, the product is not exciting. So better taking a little chance and giving not enough information for finding out. 

Well, who knows, they did almost everytime like this and mostly the product was fine at the end. But i don't understand them too, if i have a nice product, it would really be better giving more information.

I agree with you.  I like the way Inkbox handled the Twilight Movie cards.  They listed all the piecework cards that were going to be in the set and showed pictures of each of them.  I got to see the cards and decide if I wanted them or not before they were released.  I decided to peorder a set, and it was the smartest thing I ever did.  I paid $400.00 including shipping with Digital Hero.  Recently I saw he has a complete set of 12 cards for sale on  .  His price on was $950.00.  I wish I could make that kind of profit on the stock market right now.

I just canceled my 3-4 case order for MM2 yesterday b/c of what everyone has been talking about (and my own bad experience w/ MM).  Lack of product info and the fear that they're going to use the same old stuff (not to mention my apprehension about dud boxes and terrible insert collation).  In these times, while I want to support HP/Artbox, I'm not going to shell out that kind of money for such uncertainty.

If Artbox wants to give out only a little info, then it should include one or two of the bigger cards in the set.  That would be more exciting than releasing info about four autos from new signers who play minor characters.  How about some details on costumes and props?  Let's hear about insert ratios.  This is the info needed in order for people to become interested in buying boxes and cases,especially in this economy.

I believe that orders are due at the beginning of next week.  If Artbox doesn't come close to selling out, then maybe they'll throw us a few bones by the end of the week.
