Hey guys. I have just seen the first ep of Merlin. Now... bear in mind that I rather enjoyed Robin Hood I think this has the potential to be MUCH better. Did anyone else watch it - what did you think? I like the idea that Arthur is a bit of an idiot at the mo but that potential to be great (though, through boredom has become a bit of a spoiled bully!)

I have been duly informed by my learned sister of legends that every "fact" is wrong. Having seen most of the episode, I think they may have been better off naming it something else, renaming the characters and just having an original fantasy series.

Yeah bet Robin Hood wasn't factually right either. It was good, even Gwen (TW) as an evil witch.

oh I thought you'd like that Dawn It was totally her teeth though that gave her away... without them I wouldn't have recognised her... thus she definitely shouldn't change them

I admit, it's cheesy Saturday afternoon fodder but despite this it's still good fun

It'll keep us occupied until there's some doctor who. Apparently they are going to show a taster of the Christmas one on Children in Need.

I just saw the first episode which was quite enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing the rest and picking out the historical inaccuracies (not that I'm an expert in Arthurian legend )

Quite, it's just good natured, Saturday early afternoon fodder... when very few people on the planet have their own brain back in their possession from the frying from the week before
