Updated 14 February 2010. Reports are in for 274 boxes, or 5.48% of the 5000-box print run. The only real observation is that the Young Peter auto seems to be less rare than the other 'Rares', and Nigel has shown up less frequently than the other "Commons." I still calculate the averages within the scarcity-groups Artbox announced. Out of 24 full-case reports, 12 cases fell into 5 "clusters" with all the same high-chase cards, 7 others differed by only 1-2 cards, and 5 were unique.

Please post, PM, or email reports of the autographs you pull from cases and boxes. One thing we try to do is to see what "clusters" are found: cases that have mostly the same autos, costumes, and props. But any reports of total autographs found across multiple cases are still helpful for the auto tracking.

Here's guesses for autograph projections, assuming a total of 3000 signed; including allowances for damage, replacements, and Con goodie-bags. This is 20% over the number expected if there was one auto per two boxes. The count of costume serial numbers (1860) is 24% above 1800, the number expected in packs for 3-per-case, while prop totals hint at a 26% "overage" versus pack insertion at 6-per-case. If the reports are random selections, the standard uncertainty for a count of 16 is ±4.

No boxes with more than 5, but perhaps a case instead? 

There were 6 autos in "Case 2" from sfmuggle (bottom of first screen in the breakdown thread). It was your "Case 5", but with two autos in one of the boxes.

I include reports on less than a full case, though I realize the autos/box ratio can be off a little bit if you don't know what else was unreported from the case. Still, usually you can explain a ratio different from 1:2 boxes just by seeing occasional cases that are shorted or enhanced.
