Your owl post which contains the swatch from Lockart's book is green.  That means they are using a third book.  I'd love to know which book that is.

First of all i would like to say how fantastic everybody's cards look and very well done to anyone who has managed to get themselves some rare ones too.
I had promised myself that i would stay clear of getting any boxes for this set even though i knew that there were going to be some superb cards in this 2nd edition but after seeing all the pics close up and seeing just how great the cards are i have finally given in to temptation. Evil
It was seeing the prop and costume cards from SS, COS and POA that really broke my resistence. I get very nostalgic and get a really nice feeling inside from seeing things from the first three movies especially POA as it is my favourite.
It will only be a couple of boxes but i am really looking forward to getting them and fingers crossed i will have them by saturday! Grin

My two boxes have just arrived! Grin
I can't wait to open them. Fingers crossed for some nice pulls!.
I will post my box breakdowns and hopefully some pics later on in the appropriate threads.

I'm really surprised at how quite this thread is. A lot of the usual suspects are missing, and I can only think that the Potter card bubble has burst  Sad

Hi guys. Here is my prop card that i pulled from one of my two boxes that i got today. This was the only insert in my second box and my first box only produced a Zacharias Smith Redemption Card.
A bit disappointed on the whole to of only pulled one insert from each box but i am quite pleased with my quaffle and bludger prop card as it is a piece of bludger instead of a piece of quaffle.
There appears to be a line going through the middle (a seam perhaps?).

p.s. sorry about the size of the pic. I'm really having trouble re-sizing it.

Thanks Sue!.
You must get some!. You won't be disappointed.
I said i would never get any of this 2nd 3d edition but it didn't take very long for me to crack even if it was only for two boxes Grin.
In my opinion, i think the cards are indeed nicer than the 1st edition. I like the design a lot better.
I don't know if it has anything to do with the design or if it's because we are now used to the 3d effect after the 1st edition but to me they don't seem as funny on the eyes Smiley

whats your numbered? if you dont mind me asking?

I love these cards its very gReat i am after ones from SS, POA and GOF movie as those are my fav sets and the movie

Of course i don't mind raz Grin
My number is 159/270 so knowhere near as low as your one.
The only other card i have is a Zacharias Smith auto redemption card. I paid just over £60 for two sealed boxes and i only got one insert from each box so basically each card cost me around £30. So compared to mine Raz your Quaffle and Bludger card is a real bargain. To say i was a bit disappointed is an understatement but that's the chance you take when buying boxes.
I think that when i get more cards from this series i will stick to buying individual cards.
I am hoping to get some more this weekend but i'm not sure which ones yet Smiley
Good luck with your's and i hope you get the ones you want.

Congratulations Sue Cheesy
This prop card is proving to be a very popular one indeed!.
I lost out on a Buckbeak's Chain prop card this evening. I had the winning bid with 5 seconds left and then still lost out. I'm gutted :'(

YAY!! that's what sisters are for!!  Wink Grin
When you get the cards you'll have scan them and post them for us please Sue, Raz has given the link to a very good free web hosting site which a fair number of use on here (and on Ebay too).
If you have any problems with sorting it out then please let us know and I'm sure you'll get plenty of offers of help with it from other forum members.  Wink

Stoney let me tell you something dont get any more box just get them individual, its good to get few box to open its fun thats normal but my advise it just get the cards individual, if you been writing on the forum the boxeses are really bad dont get a any good pulls, OOTP i didnt like that set much but when i bought 4 box i pulled a daniel auto and a few nice prop cards

but these 3D set box not that great and you can get them individual in a good price if you look for them like me i just got 2 of my cards for under £45

anyway thats my advise mate just wanna help and not to waste money and used it for the cards you really want

and now to Sue

Congratulations, for getting P4 Prop Bludger, thats a nice card to get.. keep it up

P.S Sue can you give US the link to your eaby that you bought so we know about as you dont have the card yet, as i show mine to everybody, if you dont mind doing it

Grin hi Guys, thanks  Grin
LOL, i cant remember what number the card is, my sister got it me just a few minutes ago. She got some others too shes fire-iys. I think she was fed up with me pestering her to bid on the bludger, shes really good at bidding i`ve lost most of mine on e-bay i`m not as good at putting in that vital bid and i really wanted this particular card, everyone heres got it so i just had to get it, really jealous but i`m over the moon now because YAY! I`ve got one.  Grin

I can't believe it Sue!!. Your sister is the person who got the winning bid on my Buckbeak's Chain prop card with 5 seconds left! Hopping Mad
I have never know anyone to be able to bid with that little amount of time left and still get the bid in before the time runs out.
How does she do it?.
I'm sure that there will be plenty of chances to get this card in the future so i'm not mad really Grin
She must be a very good sister to get these cards for you. She doesn't need a brother too does she?. Wink I'll just go and jot down some cards i would like Grin

And raz..you are quite right. I won't be getting anymore boxes. This set does not seem that great in terms of inserts but it was fun to open just a couple of boxes.
You never know what you will get!.
Two of my best sealed boxes were from OOTP too. Like you, i wasn't keen on the set as a whole but i got some nice prop and costume cards.
I will be sticking to individual cards from now on.

Providing Sue's sister doesn't get there first of course Grin

its a shame this set is great love the design but the pulls not that great plus there is 2 of the cards have a error they put the wrong swatch from the two cards if you have notes it

i am very disapointed from artbox for doing this.... i hope the next movie set will be great with great design coz i was very let down by OOTP and update and what they did with this set with 2 errors and bad pulls i wanna do get a few boxeses in the new set i hoping it would be good but with artbox you never know Sad

Just be aware that you don't get the whole bludger. You'll have to use an engorging charm before you use it in a Quidditch match.   Cool
