Anyone want to sell one of their duplicates? I am in search for one.

OH, and just in case there is a possible opportunity, send me a PM.

Thanks,
John

I will have a master set of all HP sets before i die...
Hey, I like that, if I say it I might live forever.  Angel

My heart skipped a beat checking eBay today, because I thought I saw a Trophy card at a low BIN. It was a GOF 13a though, alas ...

Hmm...that's a bit high, don't you think?  That's the price for most HP master sets. Smiley

ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! Amazing how the definition of reasonable seems to vary
between buyer and seller, isn't it? Grin

A Pear Tree Leaves may one day be a $3000.00 card, but I doubt that a SDCC card will...but who knows?? Roll Eyes

If your asking price is way too high, then not only will you not sell the card for that price, it's very likely that the potential buyer will not bother trying to negotiate with you.  He or she will think you won't want to bring the price down anywhere near a reasonable level.  For this particular card, I believe the price Artbox charged at SDCC was $200.  I won't speak for LikORish-Spider (he certainly has a mind of his own Wink ), but my guess is that while most collectors wouldn't expect to get the card now for that price, several thousand dollars is very much out of range.  IMHO, of course.

yes you're right.  i was really only joking.  i think i paid $900 for mine off ebay a while ago.
still an obviously inflated price as we all know they sold for $200 at the comic-con.
but supply and demand here. what one person is willing to pay is different from the next.  dealers are in it to make money, where we as collector's are in it for the cards.

i personally have collected and invested a lot of money in the HP cards.  having fun along the way and hopefully can make back what i paid if not a tad more when a rainy day comes.

and at the moment the weather forcast is not good!!

so there may well be a few card for sale soon :'(

At any rate, my piggy-bank is waiting for a card to become available.
I am sure there was some speculation about this card.
Maybe reality will prevail,  Undecided  now that the bloom is coming off the rose.
