I'm so sorry to hear about the dud boxes and lack of inserts.  Sad That's just not fair at all.

I should say that when my Dad opened his box, he thought he had only gotten one insert (costume). He went back through his packs and didn't see anything, so I went through them for him and found a Mad-Eye Moody autograph redemption stuck in between two cards. I noticed the redemption cards are a different kind of paper from the actual autos; different than they were in the last set as well. I don't know if that is making them stick to the base cards or what.

I just thought I would tell what happened just in case this is the situation elsewhere and I truly hope it is.  Praying

Bitsy, I had the same thing happen to me with GOF once...but I did check them to make sure. actually when I open packs, I quickly count how many cards are in it as I flip through them to make sure I have the right amount of cards.

This has happened before for me as well. I was so hoping maybe you would find one that was stuck to a couple of cards.  Sad I usually count the cards as well and look at each one, front and back.

Has anyone picked up a 3D binder?  Apparently, they exist, but are as rare as the one for World of Harry Potter 3D.

Ok, I spoke with Artbox about the damaged card and it is being replaced for sure. I am sending them the card today.

Somehow lol, I forgot to ask about the dud boxes  Embarrassed Lips Sealed I actually spoke to someone who works there who rememberd me from Comic Con and we got to talking about last year and the upcoming year. So I decided to e-mail her asking about the dud boxes but no response yet. When I get a response I will definetly post on here what happens.

I was lucky enough to get a case as a present from Boggy (I will post a breakdown asap) as well as the one I bought.  Guess what?  They were nearly identical  Roll Eyes.  Artbox really do need to get their act together with the collation of their cards - both with the base sets and the chase cards.  I haven't sorted any base sets yet but just from opening the packs there were loads of cards I threw away due to their appalling condition.  All in all a beautiful product poorly manufactured.

Oh and a big thank you to Chris (Gimli) for getting the cards to me so quickly.  For anyone who has dealt with Chris before the high standard of service won't come as any surprise but I just wanted to say a public thank you  Smiley

Crickey!! The Cho card looks like someone's bitten the corner off it - that's in a shocking state for a pack-pulled card!!  Shocked Angry
I can see why you aren't too thrilled with your boxes Marcia although the swatch on the Flying Memos is rather good ...  Undecided

I guess I got lucky with the condition of my cards... the only card that was damaged was a Bellatrix character card... O_o;;;

Mcgonagall - Love the memo card. ^__^  The Cho swatch is pretty cool too, even with the 'bitten' corner. Smiley

Bryanjs14 - how did you get in contact with them the first time? Did you e-mail, or is there a phone # I don't know about? *confused*

Yes, that's a very nice flying memo!  I bought one off ebay, but it didn't have so much writing.  Is it really writing or are they just hatch marks?

Love your Flying Memo! I love all the Flying Memo Props--there are so many different swatches.

Here are some of my pulls, case incentives, and a Harry Gray Shirt Christmas present (sorry about some of the double scans):

I love the Dark Arts book covers and pages; they're going for a mint on e-bay though. ;__;

Bitsy, I also love the memo cards. ^__^  They're just so neat...

The Dark Arts book case incentive and the prop card are my favorite prop cards, but they are so expensive on ebay because everyone wants one. Hopefully I will eventually get one!!

Does anyone know when the price guide will be up on the site?

There was just the one for OOTP, from ComicCon, right? Or was there a second one for Update? I see a couple of eBay Stores listings for the SDCC exclusive still.

I picked one up in an auction in early August. It's very nice. So I didn't opt for a regular binder for this movie.  Wink

According to the seller, there is a 3D binder for the update set.

I've only just started at that, I figure.  Tongue But I also made a sort-of decision that I have too many half-filled binders, and there was plenty of room left in my original OOTP 3-D binder for the Update! Of course I might change my mind if I get dangerously close to a master set. ...
