I need to see that part of the movie again because I don't know what kind of material the rugs or the drapes were. To me, it still looks like the tapestry, but who really knows.

I know some of you were interested in a P6 stationary with a cat face. I found this one on  Ebay!...it is not my auction, but i thought it looked cute

Wish I'd seen it Cindy - I think I would have been sorely tempted to buy it especially seeing how much this other one is bidding at!!  Shocked

I would have bought that in a split second if I had seen it!
It's good to know that the Ci1 is fabric.  I should have the one I bought from Tom in a few days.  I'm going to predict that it's not the Black family tapestry, because if it were, then Artbox would probably have listed it as such.  I'm hoping I'm wrong on that though.  Has anyone asked?

I've an idea several people have already asked that question Kelly, but as usual Artbox have seen fit to ignore it!  Roll Eyes Angry
I think it looks more like furniture upholstery from the scans I've seen so far - would be nice to be proved wrong though!  Wink Cool

I asked Artbox when we first found out about the case incentives, but no one replied.

I hope no one has the horrible horrible luck I seem to have with every single case purchase I ever make. If anyone was wondering about dud boxes, they exist, and two of them were in my case. For my three props I got one of each of the daily prophets and a plain pink swatch stationary (so the three highest #'d props) The two boxes that were duds were obviously missing autographs (and a filmcard), because I only got three autos. (Bellatrix Lestrange/Helena Bonham Carter, Bane/Jason Piper (redemption), and Amelia Bones/Sian Thomas (redemption) ) and as far as costumes go, I didnt really get any variants or low numbered ones, when I finally did pull one of the more sought after costume cards, this is what it looked liked:

Every single corner is beyond "dinged up" the top corner is pealing, and actually a bit smashed. It looks like it went through a garbage disposal. I bought my case to put together a costume set, and hopefully pull a Bonham Carter and Tom Felton auto. The Bonham Carter was the ONLY decent thing about my case. Like I said, I hope nobody else runs into this. How is artbox about replacing damaged cards?

I'm really sorry you had such a bad case break, even with the Bellatrix auto. Sad This does give us an opportunity to go over a few matters about which every HP card collector should know.

Artbox is good about replacing damaged cards, especially early on when they have plenty in stock.  You should email Artbox and tell them 1) about the poor collation of your case and 2) about the damaged card.  I don't think they'll do anything about the missing cards, but since you paid for a case, you deserve to get the cards as stated in the odds.  You may need to be persistent (and polite).

When you mail them the damaged card, you need to keep a few things in mind.  First, Artbox will ship the replacement to you with the packing materials YOU provide.  If you do not send them a sleeve, toploader, and bubble mailer, your card will be shipped to you in a regular business envelope with no protection.

Second, get delivery confirmation or some sort of tracking so you can prove that Artbox received your card.

Third, if you want Artbox to get delivery confirmation or insurance, YOU have to pay for it.  They don't tell you this -- it isn't on their boxes, packs, or redemption cards, and it isn't on their website.  When you contact customer service, ask about it and how they want payment.  I know this presents a problem for non-U.S. residents, but it would be really awful if someone's expensive/high value card got lost in the mail.

Thank you for that info. I am definetly going to contact them about the damaged card and hopefully everything gets cleared up there.

I don't expect them to do anything about the dud boxes but if by chance they do, I will be sure to post what happens.

kbmum, about how quickly, if ever, do the customer service from Artbox reply? I sent them an e-mail a few days ago, and I figure it should be about a week before I get a reply (because the release date was so recent).

Sometimes they reply quickly and sometimes not at all. Undecided  There's no way to know whether you'll get a response from them.  They were supposedly closed from December 24 until today (at least that's what the customer service email auto reply said), so there could be a big backlog of email over there.

Bryan, please let us know Artbox's response either way.  I'm sure you'll get a line about how there are no guarantees, but if someone buys a case, there should be dud boxes, and you shouldn't be missing two autos and a filmcard.  This is the sort of thing that scares me as a box buyer, because it would kill me to get no inserts when I'm buying only a couple of boxes. Well I have opened my two boxes and i still have no base set. And to say i was disappointed with the boxes would be an understatement. I usually at least have a base set for me  and one for the kids. And since it was only 2 boxes i would have thought that there would be 2 items prop costume auto film instead out of the two boxes i have 2 costumes and a prop.
I think artbox owes us an apology for this mess

There were definitely problems with collation for this set.  Marcia, please post your box breakdowns.  I want to see how many boxes were missing inserts (at this time, it's mostly the autos that were missing).  It makes me wonder if Artbox didn't have enough total autos to pack five in each case.  If that's true, then they should have at least made up the shortfall with costumes or props to guarantee two inserts per box.

Marcia, I am so sorry.  I thought Artbox was doing better with their collation, but this set really has proved me wrong. To not get a base set from two boxes is really sad.

I watched the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD on New Years Day.  I'm not a big football fan.  I think that swatch is from the curtains in the kitchen.  That card threw me for a loop because I couldn't imagine where the material had come from.  In the Deathly Hallows the kitchen doesn't have a window.

I usually get quick responses from them, but I emailed them about two weeks ago and again yesterday. Still no response. I bet they are getting a lot of emails right now though. Unfortuantely, mine is about missing redemptions I sent in and have not got back yet. I would love to hear back from them, but I need to try and be a bit more patient since it seems many people are trying to get in touch with them right now.

Really sorry to hear that people have been having trouble with their collation I had been planning on opening all 5 of my cases but think i will be playing it by ear one case at  a time. I will post my scans next week when they arrive and report any collation problems.
