Hi,

You could try to search maybe "dancing men" or "demon" in Dover Cliparts.

Best Regards,

Thomas.

Hi, just a quick question.
I have found the original image for the spider hair picture at the top, but I am having trouble with the other two. What keywords did you search, because I cant think of anything for the dragon-thingy or the two men!

Tom

Hi Tom Smiley

Yes if you subscribe to the clipart.com site you will find all you need on there. Whichever illustration you are looking for always remember to include Dover in the search as this narrows it down and WB always seem to use the Dover clipart for its props.  Do what I did subscribe for a week and download like a fiend Grin I think dancing men and demon /beast should do it. The dancing men need to be modified as does the lady with spider hat. An arm needs to be removed from the dancing men and replaced with a frogs leg ROFL! Boy those guys in the prop dept have a sense of humour don't they  Wink Also a couple of other little things to do, nothing major though.

I have been aging my PP so will put new pic up soon!

Happy hunting!

Here's the pic

Hey does anybody of you know how to call those things on the cover of the lockhart books with his picture in it?
http://www.lituus.org/grafiken/props/book%20covers.jpg
It looks like frames but I am not sure if this is the right expression.
Any idea if these things are part of the dover collection. I searched for hours but hadn't so much luck. Any hints?
Thanks

I'd say frames Grin
You could always try looking for the bugs in the Dover Collection too.

I already searched for them, but there are too much of them in the dover collection.

Me too Marcuss Grin You could also maybe try Dover borders or ornate , decorative etc.

I keep looking for the right frames

Thanks for the help

Marcuss

Hi Marcuss

No joy on the frames yet...I wonder if they are a mix of two different illustrations.
I have searched 100's of pages so far but will carry on tonight  Wink
Will also look out for the men on my search.

Yes i did draw the Owl...you can tell mine is slightly different if you look closely...but I have since found the owl they used on clipart..it is holding a sword though so will need to be played about with!

Sorry to cause you trouble. I mean the owl from the Daily Prophet logo, its part of the dover collection. Maybe you saw it during your search.

I thought the same with the whip and made a search in clipart.com with no results. The cowboy idea sounds good. Did you made a search for them?

I am starting to wonder if they do only use Dover  Undecided  I have searched for soldiers, hunters, boy scouts, pilots, shooting, hunting, archers and a few others ...I give up  Roll Eyes

Marcuss I did find some of the artwork they used for the ad that you asked me about. You know the witch & kids on the flying carpet. If you search for dover sled....you'll see it Wink Needs editing though.

I found more clipart collections. If we all look through them, maybe we find something.
