The 'f' is Federation ... I'm still trying to guesstimate what the second word on the top line says [edit] ... it looks like a capital 'I' so I wonder if the word is Internationale? I doesn't necessarily have to be English does it? Where did you get this image from by the way? I just wanted to get a look at it in situ as it might make more sense then.

Hi I made a poster a while ago and used for reference the prop used for display at an exhibition in the states. Again I don't know if this is what is on the genuine prop but it may be. My reference had this along the bottom. I also used it when I made my Quidditch World Cup programme along with the other main image that was used for the programme in the movie. I have some pictures of props somewhere , if I can find them I will have a look through and see if I can find any with the letters on that you have.

Hi Kelly I used 2 fonts in the programme(big letters) . Protege which gave me the MUCH searched for 'W' and basic sans heavy. Hi lemonlemonuk...thats amazing I love the use of the flags for countries, I have never seen that before in reference pics. Where did you actually see the original prop?

While I wait for the finish of my other prop, I started with my version of the W.O.M.B.A.T. front paper. It contains all questions from the magical world of Harry Potter. Hope you like it. http://www.hooverae.com/upload/files/200808/7078740.gifGreat Poster lemonlemonuk and MuggleMum, I love them both. Greetings Marcuss

I think the prop dept probably provide more when and if necessary for the exhibitions...... although there would have been quite a few made of each prop to begin with wouldn't there Plus I have seen slight variations on the same prop at different exhibitions and events Lemonlemonuk- thanks for the pics...I will have to try that one now I have never used Inkscape.....is it good? Do you actually draw the figures etc using that.....the figures on brooms I mean?

Thanks for the info lemonlemonuk I think I will have a go with that. I usually use Ilustrator but some of it plays about being run on Vista.....what about Inkscape...do you have vista and are there any problems?? Thanks also for the tip on the image..will give it a try. Whats next for you then.....a few of us have done daily Prophets and Quibblers etc..if you look back over the past few pages you will find them....great fun

Wow, those Harry Potter World Japan pictures are great! It's nice to see close-up details of the props. Why does the wanted poster have a huge crease and it isn't framed flat? :'( That kills me. I don't know if the items were screen-worn or screen-used, but the prop and costume departments make extras of everything in case items are damaged during filming.

Artbox states on the back of each card whether an item was screen-used or has material used to make the item.

Well I am having a go at the ministry of magic interdepartmental messages (paper planes! ) I made the prototype with an a4 sheet so it is a bit small, but I've worked out if I use the same template with an a3 sheet it will come out the perfect size. I have also started educational decree no 33 and I am dying to have a go at nevilles book. There is so much cool stuff I want to do!!! Inkscape is a good program mugglemum Thanks Have you been able to work out the text on the memos? Maybe its just random letters? I know what you mean...theres always a prop waiting to be made

Are you making the memos with one sheet of paper? We talked about this prop a while back and the general consensus was that two sheets would be needed.

The text on the ministerial memos are definitiv random letters. I guess the prop department was sure no one would every try to read them. And it is possible to do the planes with one sheet of paper.
