Is It Worth Buying A POA Update Sealed Case?. Can Anyone Help?.

Hi guys,
I'm stuck and i don't know what to do! . I really want to buy myself a factory sealed case of HP trading cards and i am leaning towards the POA Update as it is my favourite out of all the movies but i am being put off by the not so good insert odds (a costume card is not guranteed in every box and only around 2 or 3 autos per case) but i can buy it for less than £300.
Does anybody think that it is still worth buying a case for that amount or would i be better paying a bit more money..say for example a GOF Update sealed factory case which i can get for around £400, where although it is more expensive the insert odds are better (5 autos, 3 props, 10 costumes per case).
I would be really grateful for any advice or help that anybody can give me, as it is a lot of money for me to spend and i want to make sure that i make the right choice.

I think that's way too much money to spend for a case of that release.  There were a lot of dud boxes (no costume, prop, or auto), and many of the inserts are available on eBay for reasonable prices.  If you really want a case, I'd suggest either buying one from your favorite HP movie or save up for OOTP or OOTP Update.

I think everyone should buy at least one case in their lifetime, just for the thrill of it.  But honestly, unless you intend to collect all inserts of a set, buying a case is an expensive crapshoot.  If you'll be happy with each and every auto/prop/and costume you might pull, then go for it.  If you're only looking for certain ones, you're better off buying from ebay or trading.  I also agree with Kbmum, POAU isn't the best set for case buying.  To many duds.  And because there were so many cases produced, odds of pulling something really worthwhile are slim.

Although it is cheaper, i would like to think that there is a chance that i might get one or two nice pulls so i am now starting to drift away from buying a sealed case for POA Update even though it is cheaper.
I think that i would be quite happy with whatever cards i pulled out of a case...it's the number of cards that puts me off. It's the amount of inserts that i could get for the amount of money that i would be paying that scares me. The fact that i would pay all that money and within the case i could get a number of duff boxes with only one or no inserts.
At least with other sets, even if they are not any of the rarer inserts you are at least guaranteed to know that you will get a particular number of costume/autos/props in each even if it is a bit more expensive.
I think i might try and go for the Goblet of Fire update as i have searched uk sellers on ebay and at the moment OOTP boxes are thin on the ground, let alone cases. They seem to be non-existent!.
