You certainly have been lucky to find so many of the first and last numbers for these cards! Smiley  I hope Artbox produces the Fred shirt for the update set. Praying

Yeah, Ive been hunting like crazy. Ive pretty much modified the ebay search engine to find every Harry Potter prop & costume card that is listed so I dont miss one. Its been pretty successful. Ive also had some help from fellow Shackers, kind enough to sell me their pulls or point me towards a website that may have one. I have another last number on the way and I may come across three more first and lasts pretty soon. I am trying to get the entire set in either form. Its a pretty daunting, and probably impossible task, but Im going to try my hardest nonetheless. There have been a couple that have slipped by me already, either I was outbid or I had missed the auction. Im not sure if it is polite or not to ask the buyers about the cards and whether they would want to sell.

I hope the Fred shirt is made as well, itll go perfect with the George. I cant wait to finish the set and frame all the cards.

I would think that if people recently won those cards, they wouldn't want to sell unless you really made it worth their while.  Contacting them through eBay is iffy, too.  If someone contacted me that way, I'd wonder if it was a scam.

I thought that too. I, of course, would make an offer higher than what they paid, but like you said, they just won it and it would take some major convincing. Hmm, I never thought about the thread of scam. Fortunately one of the three people I would have to contact is on the boards and one is someone who has bought from me just recently. Ill probably contact them sometime in the future. Its worth a try.

Hi guys,
First of all, let me say just how much i have enjoyed looking at everybody's cards. Some of them are truly superb!. I am extremely jealous!! Angry...LOL!!!

Here are pics of my own cards that i pulled. They are not in the same class as a lot of the cards shown in this thread but i am really pleased with them!.
Not too bad considering i only had two sad lonely little boxes :'(

Pulled from my first box

Only a plain swatch i know, but i'm so glad i got something of Hermione's Grin

And here are my pulls from my second box

I really like this card Grin. I'm not normally very lucky when it comes to different variants of cards. I usuall end up with a plain swatch.

Sorry that the pics are not that great. I had to take the pics without the flash as everytime i took pics with it on i kept getting a really bad glare.

Those are two wonderful boxes there, stoney. You pulled some really solid cards. The Hermione from the first and the beautiful Ministry Munchies from the second are easily worth more than their respective boxes. Im really digging the Munchies card. Fabulous pull! Congrats!

If you dont mind me asking, what are their numbers?

Hello,

Here are some scans of the more intresting cards I have. A different munchies card numbered 275/310... and 115/235 of the Quibbler. I have many more to scan, but my scanner is acting up.

So I suppose I will start with the Order of the Phoenix set. Ive had quite the haul these last couple days, over ten packages just yesterday and today. I had some pretty good cards show up on my doorstep with a few marvelous surprises to boot. I also got my Dumbledore's Army list and Platform 9 3/4 ticket replica props, which look fabulous. I really like the ticket. I cant wait to get my whole display arrangement up. So here you are:

Number 250/250!!! Grin Thanks again, Rich!

Both of these courtesy of Paul (The Razzer). Thank you so much!

Definitely all for both 001's and last numbers. I have tabs on all the first and lasts that I have either missed or lost on ebay as well as people who have pulled them that dont want to sell at the moment. So, now Im just waiting for cards to pop up in other places. I think where I have failed in the past with other sets, I have an advantage. I started hunting the second the cards started to show up on ebay, something I didnt do with other sets. I just won a OOTP Ci2 Voldemort Robes 200/200, so that will be the first card I have both the number one and last.

I love the cells, but no, the card isn't worth $100. Roll Eyes  But, who knows?  There are a lot of new HP collectors, and one of them might think it's a must-have card.
