Hey Olly - welcome!

(who's sucking up for a christmas card from Darren eh?)

LOL

But I am inclined to agree - I don't know if they have taken a new person on but the Fellowship Festival Shire litho is a beaut and now these??

Hi Roz,

I'd be very lucky to get a Christmas card from Darren!!
Only the honoured few get them.

Although I did get a Engagement card from him  Grin

I have been lucky enough to meet up with the Cards Inc design team on a couple of occasions. Last count there were 4 of them (April) but they had just moved office and were looking to expand.  The head designer (Mark) really knows his stuff and is not only a designer but a fan, so he really has a passion for the work. This is what sets them apart in my opinion. The strongest card/collectable designers in the market.

Its really cool to see the designs evolve over the years.

BTW - Just received their TB Movie cards and they are the best card product Cards Inc have ever produced. Hopefully a good sign of things to come

LOL I was joking, I didn't think he'd send them  Wink

Yeah good luck Olly - how long have you been with Kay?

I haven't focussed on the TB set but I will certainly take a close look at memorabilia, it looks to me like Cards Inc should work themselves up to getting licences for big releases to do cards (already they can do LOTR and HP Lithographs) - but there is one thing you can always say about Darren, despite how busy he is he does put in the effort to find out what people WANT to buy - and he does keep in contact with us - the plebian buyers  Wink

Oooh had to think then...4 years we've been together.
4 years in 2 weeks actually

You should definately take a look at the TB cards if you like sketches.
Some of the best I have ever seen, especially the painted ones!

I opened 240 boxes yesterday and will be putting a sketch card gallery together soon. Is it ok to post the link here, in case anyone is interested??

240 boxes?

In HP run terms that's 10% of the run!

240 boxes?

Do you have any fingerprints left? Or is that the plan? Now you can befome an unidentifiable international theif?

Wow yes please show us what you got Smiley Should I make an "other trading cards" section on the forum - then you could put it in there - yea do that - post it in there rather than on the end here. Then if a set gets tonnes of chat about it we can give it it's own section.

... I hope you have a nice present lined up for the 4 year anniversary... no a sketch card from Thunderbirds probably won't do - keep looking!  Grin
