Hey, that right. 8.5 boxes that I've bought. If only I had chosen the other side of the box I could have had four Bonnie Wright's and three Quidditch robes, but no...

In his daughter's hand. That kid's got the touch. What is this, a comedy act?

Hey everyone, how much should my daughter charge morenomark to open more packs of cards for him?!? Yes morenomark, I do believe we have a comedy act here. Roz, is that allowed? Can we be funny?

I think that the only things that are not allowed on this site (according to Roz) are: 1. Referring to skates as roller blades 2. Criticising Viggo Mortensen/Aragorn Or for that matter referring to LOTR as anything but the most brilliant movies EVER 3. Being rude about Mak's comics Everything else is no holds barred I believe Well I have been taking it as so anyway

Thank you agent Ferdinand for explaining the 3 cardinal sins of the forum! And not forgetting that no one should be funny, or have fun or derive any enjoyment from this forum! (P.S. constructive criticism of Mark's comics is always allowed... but just remember to keep an eye out of the window for snipers )

Is the term in-line skates allowed? Because I live in Canada....skates to me means ice skates. I promise not to criticize Mak's comics...I cannot draw at all. Bad mouth VIg or LOTR anything..........should warrant a lifetime ban. I was reading some posts on NSU last night and one of the moderator's posted a reminder not to do something that had not been done yet. Get a Life.

Chico I have that exact same problem with the 'policies' of the NSU board! I don't have many posts on there but I think I am rapidly becoming known as the outspoken trouble maker that I really am

Very nice indeed So, how much should my daughter charge? She is only 9 years old, but has a track record of finding awesome cards in packs I have bought I am thinking around $1.00 to $1.25 per pack, but don't want to "short-change" her of what is duly deserved. Or should she be paid according to awesomeness of the inserts she gets? That way could get very expensive I will be posting more messages later when I get to work...Bye y'all, frd

Thanks mcgonagall, So, do I have to pay her for cards in the past? :'( It would take quite awhile to get that much money saved up, so I hope the answer is NO! By the way, we received a box of Hellboy today, and she pulled 2 of the toughest cards to get: Hellboy Autograph (Ron Perlman himself) & Pieceworks # 1 (Ron Perlman's leather jacket). So, right there I owe her $4.00 already. I think I should prevent her from opening any more packs. I could easily go broke

now the way to stay ahead of the game with your 9 year old wants to buy lunch from school that is the money she can use and then another way is ask if there is anything they would like to save up for and get a tin and put the money in . And you only start adding the money together from todat on.

Cool, that is a load off of my mind. Start with today. Should I pay her as she pulls the cards, weekly, etc? She hardly asks for money, as she is content with what she has. But, I think we have gone on long enough about my daughter! Let's talk about my son. Just kidding LOL (Although, I do have an 8-year-old boy - he likes cards well enough, just not to the point of lunacy like my daughter & I). Not that I am counting, but there are 81 days left before Potomac ships me my case of POA Update cards. And I don't even have any fingernails left to bite off. Damn all this extra weight I have on, preventing me from biting my toe-nails (JUST KIDDING - LOL). In case anyone is wondering (I am sure most of you are not), this is the first forum I have joined, and am having a blast. I wonder if Al Gore "invented" this, too? (Little back history, a few years back Al Gore claimed that he had invented the World Wide Web - or the Internet can't really recall).

What do you mean? I would vote for the "robot" president any day. He did not invent the WWW nor the Internet, just comments made taken out of context. Did you get the message I sent you? Holler at y'all later if I get a chance, frd

Cripes you are right, I have a pile of messages to answer - I'd best get to it! Well put it this way, I have enough trouble deciding who to vote for in my own country without having to decide on one of yours Labour (ick) Tory (double ick)... looks like I'll have to be a typical academic and go yellow with the "hopeless cases" liberal democrats! I mostly like them but they haven't a hope of winning an election.. Perhaps I should give in to the inevitable and vote for the monster raving loony party... yes WE DO ACTUALLY HAVE ONE!
