It was a case that you took your voucher to comic con and they gave you the tricksy little rascal ..

If you could not attend you had to enter a ballot/lottery

To the untrained (non LOTR) eye - if you decorated your house with too many of these it would look like a chamber of horrors   it's cool but there's no getting around that Gollum is freaky! It must have taken Serkis and the WETA digital team AGES to make him cute and loveable as they did!
